Tempest laughed. "He does look the part, doesn't he?"
Tempest laughed. "He does look the part, doesn't he?"
"I wouldn't know, but I suppose so." He smiled over at her, temporarily forgetting about the attack.
She grinned back. "He thinks that if he were a god, he'd be the god of beauty. Honestly, Aquarius is so vain sometimes."
"Eros already has that covered. Levi practically drools over him whenever we visit Olympus. Leon and I have to drag him away from the god."
Tempest laughed. "And how does Eros react?"
"Oh, he loves the attention, " Lance said with an amused smile. "Encourages it, even, by flirting with poor Levi. You think he's smart and level-headed? Not with Eros. He's a bumbling and blushing mess. It's quite entertaining."
"Oh, Eros must love the attention. I think he might be jealous of Aquarius, though."
"Is that so?" He inquired with a raised brow.
Tempest shrugged. "At least, he hates him. It's hilarious to watch the two of them at each other's throats."
I'd imagine so. Eros doesn't like competition." He let out a small laugh. "Imagine Levi if both of them were in the same room as him."
"Oh, that would be a disaster!" Tempest said, shuddering slightly.
"I'm honestly kind of curious how that interaction would turn out. I know Levi would die right then and there."
"Yes. We should test that."
"Later, " he muttered when they approached the camp. "We have a battle on our hands."
"Yeah." She sighed. "I'm tired of fighting. I've been doing it all my life. Fight for the Siren throne with my annoying cousins, fight for my life, fighting to seem like more than a pretty face. I just wish it would stop."
He looked over to her with a small, reassuring smile. He didn't know what words would make her feel better, so he didn't try–lest he screw up royally.
Tempest sent him a small, sad smile, crossing her arms.
"Tempest!" Kenzie called. "You're needed!"
Tempest nodded to her friend. "Lead the way."
Lance trailed after Tempest and Kenzie, practically useless thanks to the idiot know as Leon. He wanted to be at least a little useful.
Tempest ran to the shore. A horrible sight greeted her. Poseidon was hovering in a wave, trident in his hand. He was surrounded by sea nymphs, sea monsters and even a kraken.
She cursed. Her brothers and a few demigods were fighting. The Primordials were no where in sight, and neither were the other gods.
Jumping into the water, she controlled the waves to shoot her to her brothers, who were fighting a large sea dragon. She screamed suddenly, and it collapsed back into the sea, whimpering.
Lance cursed as well, seeing the predicament. Where the hell are the other gods!?
Levi, in dragon form, roared and challenged another sea dragon, drying and rendering its scales useless. Aurae was shooting down sea nymph after sea nymph, her trusty twin pistols never faltering and her aim remaining true. She had laid out invisible traps for the enemies to get caught in, and her familiars were ten times their normal size, hissing and ripping their opponents apart.
He felt completely useless. He had no special skill outside of being a part of the Chimera, and that was not an option with Leon deciding to get blackout drunk.
Maybe I should call Kora? She could challenge even Posiden's power over the sea.
Tempest gave a loud shriek, and several nymphs fell dead. Aquarius winced, but grinned. "Hey, sis," he said. "Took you long enough."
(Mind if I pop in a character to make Poseidon back down? She's a water nymph and 21,000-ish year old demigod)
(Be my guest.)
(Okay, just a sec. Other rps to reply to.)
(I get it.)
Lance watched the battle and the looming Poseidon, then cursed again and pulled out a notepad. He scribbled a quick message on it: Help. Poseidon going on rampage. Need assistance. He ripped it out and threw it into the wind, and it vanished as if by magic.
Tempest had her hands full. Her throat was sore, and Poseidon seemed to have an endless supply of nymphs and monsters.
The ocean erupted angrily, waves swelling and moving unnaturally as they crashed down on sea monsters and nymphs and deprived the sea creatures of their precious water, refusing to enter their gills as they forced them to the surface and beach. Huge swells of waves swirled around Poseidon's minions, trapping them in strong vortexes and keeping them from attacking further.
Tempest lay down with a sigh of relief.
Lance sighed heavily as well. And she appears with a flourish only someone as ancient as her could achieve. He looked to Poseidon for his reaction to the sudden turn of events.
