Theo entered the classroom behind another big group off people he thought to himself I wonder what the teachers will be like

@ShadeStar

Cicada began to feel her head start to split again. She was in a crowded room with a bunch of students, and now she could hear almost everything they were thinking. She just needed to focus on her own thoughts, even though that was a bit hard with all the thoughts flying around.

Neil and Marcus headed for two seats nearest one of the walls of the classroom, Marcus sitting in front of Neil. While Neil took his phone out to text home about the day so far, Marcus looked around, analyzing the room and other students.

Kara sat next to the girl with her head on the desk “are you okay”

@ShadeStar

Cicada didn’t actually hear or see the girl, but she could hear more concerning thoughts from somewhere nearby. She muttered out, “Stop thinkin so loud.”

Did I leave my stove on? He thought to himself. Wait, I don't have a house. Who's stove did I leave on?

Bedros stumbled into class, catching a few off looks. He smiled, obliviously, sitting in the back, by a window.
The teacher was a tall, strong man who looked more like a linebacker than a teacher. Of Asian descent, with untidy, black hair and dark eyes.

@ShadeStar

Cicada was about ready to either start blindlessly fighting people or pass out. They all though to much, like most people do.

Jamie walked in lightly, almost skipping as he took his seat. He was smiling still, oblivious to Cicada’s pain or anyone else’s as he was clearly caught up in his own little world.

@ShadeStar

“No,” Cicada looked up her eyes slightly unfocused, but the rage was there. Her words slurred as she spoke, “Just go away.”

She turned back up to the front of the class I hope she will be okay

@Shuri-the-Floof-Doggo

"Good morning, class. Today is nothing special, just a few rules and regulations." His voice boomed. "There will be no seating chart, just take a syllabus and pass it back."

@MusicElle-is-here

Jamie’s eyes began to glaze over. Talking rules bored him to no end. He tried to think of a witty remark. “Syllabus? More like kill-a-us,” he muttered with a smirk, hopefully too low for the teacher to hear.
