Jynna smiled and swung her legs over the fence, jumping off of it before he could help her, "Alright, just give me a minute to figure out how to get there from here, I've only ever drove there from my house and my friends places."
Jynna smiled and swung her legs over the fence, jumping off of it before he could help her, "Alright, just give me a minute to figure out how to get there from here, I've only ever drove there from my house and my friends places."
"Works for me," Rhydar said, leaning against the fence and giving Jynna a small smile. "No need to rush."
She closed her eyes lightly and tried to remember the path to get there, drawing out a small map on the palm of her hand with her finger.
He watched with an idle smile on his lips. She looks so cute, he gushed internally.
"Alright, I think I know how to get there." She finally said, her eyes popping open and a smile on her face, "It's actually not too far from here."
He returned her smile with one of his own. "Great, just tell me where to go." He came up beside her and slid his hand in hers as he walked back to his motorcycle.
Once they reached the motorcycle she grabbed the helmet and put it on, hopping onto the seat where she sat before. "It's at a park only a few miles down the road, I go there all the time when me and my friends are having parties."
"Sweet. I think I might've been there before. Not too sure, though." He swung a leg over the bike and settled in his seat, then started it. The engine roared to life, and he revved it before looking over his shoulder at Jynna. "Ready to go?"
She wrapped her arms around him and nodded, "Yup," She said, her grip around him tightening slightly, "First turn is going to be a left, away from the city."
"Okay." He took off and followed Jynna's instructions.
"Two more lefts, then a right," She said into his ear on the drive, knowing her instructions would take them right to a nice but not heavily used park.
He followed her directions until they reached the park. He shut off the motorcycle and looked around the park. "It's nice. Haven't been here before."
Jynna smiled and took off the helmet, "It gets better back by the open space, we have a picnic table set up back there for this exact purpose." She hopped off the bike and offered him her hand, smiling, "Let's get going Prince."
He got off as well, grabbing her hand and tugging her close. "After you, Princess," he said with a smile down at her. He was looking forward to spending all day with Jynna, and he was curious to see someplace that she liked.
She glanced up at him and started tugging him towards the open area, which was slightly visible through a patch of woods. Her eyes sparkled with excitement in showing him one of her favorite places, "This is the best when it's at sunset or later at night, I wish I could show you then, but this works too."
"We could just stay here until sunset," he murmured, looking down at her face. She looked so happy and excited, and it brought a smile to his face as he gazed at her.
"We could, if you wanted to, it really is amazing out here then," She replied, still pulling him towards the picnic table, "Though you might have to deal with me whining about being hungry after a while."
"I'm pretty sure I can handle you just fine, " he said with a wink. "And I think some quiet time out here, with just you, sounds ideal to me."
She nodded and smiled, "Time out here with you sounds good, though I don't think you'll be able to handle me, I can be very whiny."
"As can I, Princess." He tugged her close and wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "I've been often compared to a three-year-old."
She led him to the empty space, a grassy area surrounded by trees with a small lake in the center. "I've been compared to a four-year-old, so I think we're about even," She said, smiling as she motioned to the area, "Welcome to the Lake as we call it."
He looked around the area, imagining Jynna hanging out here with friends. He smiled slightly at the image–especially of the one he got of her diving into the lake for a swim.
“I’ll go pull the picnic table out of it’s hiding spot quick, you choose where you want me to put it.” She said, stepping away from him to go grab the table from it’s hiding spot in the trees.
He raised a brow at her demand, but looked around for the best spot to put the table. "Ah, how about under those trees next to the lake?" he said, pointing where he was talking about. "Shade and easy access to the lake."
She nodded and smiled, "Sounds good." Tossing a few branches off the previously hidden table, she flipped it onto its side and started the slightly awkward process of pulling and rolling the table to where he had said.
He watched her with amusement, crossing his arms and leaning against a tree. "Need any help, Princess?"
"Nope," She said, tugging the table a little closer to the spot he had pointed to, "I'm almost always on table duty when we come here, so I should be good."
"Oh, so you get stuck doing the dirty work too?" he asked, still amused.
Jynna rolled her eyes and laughed lightly, "I'd rather to this than be on alcohol or food duty." After another few minutes of tugging and pushing she got the table into place and pushed it off its side, "There Prince, anything else you want me to bring over before I sit down?"
"Nope," he said, popping the P. He pushed off the tree and came up behind her, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and resting his chin on the top of her head in a backwards hug. She probably thought him weird for finding any and every chance to hold her, but he didn't care.
