They continued forward for a bit before Tolkalee turned to make sure they weren't being followed. He saw no one, but kept an ear out for anything.
Matthew smiled. “Soon enough. Come on, follow me” he started guiding them to his house on the edge of the region.
Hinata followed loosely behind, semi-exhausted.
They eventually reached Matthew’s house. When he unlocked the door, the lights inside were on. “Well…this is weird…I’m pretty sure I turned them off when I left…” he claimed.
Tolkalee placed his hand in his pocket and realized something. The little elephant carving he'd been making was still in the restaurant. A flash of sadness shot through him, but he banished telling himself that he couldn't get distracted now.
Hinata nearly collapsed when she crossed the threshold.
"I swear, if anyone broke in and compromised my nap time…"
Matthew walked in before anyone did. “Huh…seems like I actually forgot to turn them off…anyways, it’s clear, come on in” he called to everyone else outside.
Tolkalee walked inside and looked around. Despite having been told it was safe he felt that something was off.
Hinata, ignoring everyone, walked over to the nearest corner, curled up in a ball, and went to sleep.
When everyone came in, Matthew locked the front door.
“Okay, so. Just to make this clear, there are two bedrooms…well guest rooms on this floor which me and Aisen will be in. Three guest rooms on the second floor and another two on the third floor. The fourth floor…you don’t really have to worry about it” he nervously laughed as he said the last part.
Matthew then noticed Hinata. “Maybe I might have to sleep on the upper floors…”
Tolkalee decided on the third floor. In a room that had a window. "If anything happens call for me," he called walking up the stairs.
Matthew tapped on Hinata’s body and shook her a little bit. “Uh, you can have the room on this floor. You seem way too tired to go the stairs but at least sleep on a bed”
Hinata stirred.
"Huh..?"
(Trust me, send her up the stairs >:))
Matthew’s house was one with quite a lot of white and black decorations. Around almost every corner of the house, you can find a plant pot or a small bush. It was ridiculously clean for a man’s house.
The room Tolkalee decided on was very…very clean. It was as if someone just dusted the room an hour ago or something along those lines.
“Come on, at least go sleep on a bed” Matthew recommended. He turned to Cronos and Aisen. “You guys can sleep downstairs, I’ll sleep upstairs” he said to them as they nodded.
Tolkalee looked around for a moment, before stepping inside. He closed the door, walked over to the bed and sat down. He pulled his bow off his shoulder and set it next to him. Pulling his quiver off next, placing his short sword back into it. Then he pulled his dagger off his leg and set it next to the bed. An easily accessible spot.
(I need Matthew to be upstairs for one specific situation to happen, that’s why the other two Knights have to be downstairs :D Hint Hint)
Sounds of items dropping and hitting each other can be heard in the room next to Tolkalee’s.
Hinata opened her eyes and looked around.
"Well, since I've had a power nap, I should have enough energy to crawl into a bed."
(My brain: 4th floor and him needing to go upstairs; something juicy is gonna be happening on the fourth floor.)
Tolkalee listened for a moment. That didn't sound normal. He picked up his dagger and walked to the door silently.
(Someone knew what I was trying to do! Nooooooo! And you should let Tolkalee slightly open the door to see what’s going on it the room)
( ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)Don't forget, Hinata didn't hear him say not to worry about the 4rth floor.)
(・Д・)
(XD)
(I'm soooooooooooooooooooo sending her up there)
Matthew walked up to the second floor and went to the room with a white wooden door.
Tolkalee crept to the room next door and cracked it open slightly. Peering inside to locate the noise.
Hinata dragged herself into a standing position. She walked up the stairs, looking for somewhere to sleep.
A figure was present the room, he had a sleeveless green hoodie on and had golden lines on his arms. He appeared to be looking for something in that room.
