Ara stretched, bending backwards in a way that would make most people gag. She stood up, brushing dirt from her clothes, and glanced around. Waterfall, the main city in the Water District, was just starting to wake up.

Orien was in a little niche nearby, observing the square. He noticed a girl not too far from him, but said nothing as the sun began to rise on the horizon.

Ara jumped down from the building and landed lightly on the balls of her feet. She glanced around for anyone before darting away, silent.

Orien wasn't one to throw himself into things, but his eyes narrowed a bit curiously and he quietly followed the girl.

Ara heard the sound of footsteps and turned. "Who are you?"

Orien arched his eyebrows and leaned against the building. Girl must have good hearing… "Better question is who are you?"

"I don't see why it's any of your business," Ara said, with a careless wave of her hand. "You were the one who followed me. I should be the one asking questions."

"Fine. Orien. Now answer my question," he said bluntly.

“I’m Ara,” she said with a smirk. “Though you may know me as Frostbite.”

He wasn't exactly impressed, to say the least. "Oh…"

She grinned at his expression and skipped away, an icicle growing in her palm.

He rolled his eyes. Girls…
