Faith stood and stared at Tolkalee. “I am a Knight you damn fool…” he answered Tolkalee with his slight temper.
Faith stood and stared at Tolkalee. “I am a Knight you damn fool…” he answered Tolkalee with his slight temper.
"My apologizes, I've been fighting people who look like knights and aren't for quite a while now," Tolkalee apologized he walked over to the knight. "I'm Tolkalee."
The messed up side of the Knight’s face looked like it was burnt, his arm was black and red, his elbow resembled a giant blade and his hand represented a claw, while his normal side was…normal. He cleared his throat. “Faith Lacost, host of Cursed Half, teacher and trainer for newer generations of Knights” he fully introduced himself.
"Nice to meet you, some of the other knights are down stairs," Tolkalee explained. "We were just trying to figure out what our next move was going to be."
Faith’s cursed arm stretched and reached for somethings in the dark. His cursed arm pulled out two Corrupted Knights; Steven’s Parasitic Hive and Lachlan’s Voltage Walker. “You all are wanting to kill these guys right…? Well, these two are still alive…just really close to death” Faith explained to Tolkalee as the one of the figure coughed out blood while the other bled a pool of blood within seconds.
"Um, okay?" Tolkalee said looking down at the two. "I don't think I quite understand what you want me to do with them."
“Would you care to do the honors…or do you want me to do it…?” Faith asked Tolkalee while his cursed side’s veins shook like crazy.
Tolkalee nodded in understanding. "You could do one, while I do the other," Tolkalee said. He pressed his sword to one of the corrupted knight's throats.
“Fair enough…” Faith’s cursed hand turned into a blade. He then stabbed the other corrupted Knight’s heart and enlarged the blade while it was still inside. Pulling the blade hand out, the Knight’s heart came out with it while still beating.
Tolkalee slit the other corrupted knight's throat. Blood pooled out around them. "Right, shall we go join the others?"
“You go back to them…I’ll be up there” he gestured to the third floor of the hall. “Don’t tell them about me if possible…I’m too lazy to act like I’m happy to see all of them again…” his cursed hand turned back to its normal state, a claw. He then walked away from Tolkalee and headed for the stairs which lead to the third floor.
After he was gone, Tolkalee shuddered. Watching Faith kill the corrupt knight reminded him of his fight with Helldor. Right after Helldor had injured his little sister, and threatened to kill her. He'd never done anything that brutal before, and he hadn't afterwards. Seeing something like that happen made him feel slightly sick.
Not long after Faith reached the third floor, he was tossed back down to the second floor where Tolkalee was. A black and white coated and masked figure walked down from the stairs afterwards. They were holding a staff with a moon shaped gem by the end of it.
"Awe wonderful," Tolkalee threw his arms up in exasperation. "Because we really can't have any time to relax. Someone just has to come attack," he'd raised his voice so that everyone downstairs could hear him. He raised his sword and crouched in his fighting stance. "Bring it asshole," he challenged.
Aisen heard the yell and ran upstairs only to be blocked by some invisible forcefield. He attempted to use his Duality Zone to cancel out the barrier, but to no avail.
Faith slowly stood up. “Seems like it’s just the two of us and this bastard…” his cursed arm turned into a giant blade. The hunter smiled behind his mask, holding the staff up they fired a barrage of crescent moon shaped projectiles at both Tolkalee and Faith.
Tolkalee did a horizontal spin to avoid the projectiles, landing on his feet, and charging.
The figure easily used his staff to block Tolkalee’s blade. Faith charged him after Tolkalee did only to be pushed away by what appears to be a music notes wall. The staff the figure held in front Tolkalee shone a light bright enough to blind someone momentarily.
Tolkalee jumped back for a moment turning his already blind side towards the light. His good eye was unable to see anything for a moment. He tried to attack again, swinging upward at a bit of an angle.
The figure rotated his staff so that it blocked Tolkalee’s attack. “Nice try, Tolkalee…” the figure said to him before parrying the attack and pushing Tolkalee back away from him.
Tolkalee fell backward only barely staying on his feet. "How do you know who I am?" he spat, shaking his head to clear the black and white spots from his vision. His sword still ready.
The figure slightly laughed. “That doesn’t matter now…well…I’ll see you again soon…” the figure bowed to Tolkalee before disappearing into music notes.
The forcefield that blocked them then disappeared and Faith slowly stood up.
"It does matter," Tolkalee spat, after the figure disappeared. "Because you know who I am, you know my name at least." He then ran over to Faith and helped him to his feet. "You okay?"
Faith got up on his feet. “Yeah…I’m fine…” he said to Tolkalee. Matthew ran up the stairs to see the crescent moon symbol and a piece of sheet music on the ground where the figure disappeared. “Crap…it was him” he turned to Cassius and Royce who came up after.
"Who is him?" Tolkalee asked.
Cassius saw the sheet music and the crescent moon symbol. “Wait but…wasn’t he an actual Knight?!” Cassius asked Matthew. “Yeah he was…” Matthew answered. Matthew turned to Tolkalee to answer his question. “We have another person to be careful of…Amatsuki, host of Moonlight Sonata, original host of Dream Feast and the very First Royal Knight of the Labyrinth…” Royce turned to Matthew “So that means…” Matthew nodded “There are now eight people on their team…three of which are still alive…”
Tolkalee groaned and let his shoulders slump. "This always happens," he grumbled.
Cassius turned to Tolkalee. “Are you hurt?” He asked while Matthew and Royce are examining the symbol.
"Physically? Or mentally?" Tolkalee asked sarcastically. "No, I'm fine," he answered.
“Technically I can heal both if you want me to” Cassius jokingly added.
"Thanks, but I hate people prying into my head," Tolkalee shook his head. "It's not very nice in there."
