“Us Knights have a weakness, a really bad weakness to be exact. We are all vulnerable to Soul Killer Perks. As you may know, all the Knights are just spirits, meaning that abilities and weapons that are directed at manipulating or attacking souls are insanely strong against us. One of the Knights here actually have an ability like that…” Cassius glared at Aisen.
"Wow. Remind me to put some protection around this dimension, cause if the Shadow Master I'm fighting finds this place, yall'd be dead."
Adara shrugged, fire still burning. "So what?"
“Well…if all the Knights do end up dead, the spirits here will all be unbalanced and unorganized—“ Cassius said before Aisen stepped up. “The spirits here will lose the ability to be reborn, in other words, forever trapped here. But…here’s a problem, there are three Knights who, and I quote, Have to stay alive at all costs. Those three are Cassius, Matthew and Cronos, the rest are just like guards to the three of them” Aisen explained to them.
She nodded, a devilish smirk on her face, made creepier by the burning hair and eyes. "I'll help."
Aisen smiled when Adara said that. “Thanks”
Adara grinned back. "No problem. I'll do anything I can to burn things, even if it doesn't do anything."
Aisen nervously smiled. “Just don’t burn the spirits here nor the Knights, please”
Adara gave a mock salute, her fire fading, her eyes going back to their normal ember-like state. "Of course, Your Highness."
Cassius raised a brow and smacked Aisen’s head slightly. “Why don’t you tell them why we can’t die?”
“Oh right…uh, Cassius is the one who purifies the souls before they get reborn. Matthew is the one who keeps Nature active, normal and keeps it growing. Cronos is the one who regulates the life and death of souls” Aisen explained.
"Those all sound boring," Adara said. "But I'll help protect them."
After Adara finished her sentence, crimson red cubes, pyramids, spheres and cylinders came in through the windows aiming at the Knights specifically.
Adara snapped her fingers and a wave of flames so bright and hot that everything near them burst into flames sprang up.
A figure stepped through the door. “Well hello there, fellow Knights…” the figure grinned.
Adara snarled at the new arrival.
Tolkalee noticed the figure going into the Central Hall. "Uh oh, Loki come on, we're going help him with the others," he said walking back towards the building.
All the Knights noticed something but shook it off. Matthew pointed at the figure. “Kasai! Kori!” he called as the spiritual small foxes dash towards him. As they dash towards the figure, they turned into actual foxes and jumped at the figure. The figure grinned and sent the foxes flying back at Matthew easily.
"Who is this asshole?" Adara growled, the fire growing hotter.
Cassius bit his lips. “He resembles a Knight, but this is definitely not him” he explained before he summoned some vein like strings to trap the figure.
Adara sent the fire wall towards the figure.
The figure summoned crimson cubes under himself to get over the wall. They jumped over the strings Cassius made and landed on his feet. “Nice try…” they grinned.
Hinata leaped up, giving orders to her Companion Souls to help protect the Knights.
Crimson Cubes and Pyramids surround Matthew’s pets as well as Matthew himself. The figure had an effect like they were glitching having statics surrounding them.
Adara growled. "I'm really starting to hate this guy." She set one of the cubes on fire.
Hinata ran over to Matthew.
"What's up with the hecking cubes?!"
The cubes Adara burnt didn’t have effects on them, instead the fire transferred itself to the cubes and pyramids surrounding Matthew and his pets. “C’mon, continue feeding the fire. Let’s see how long Nature can hold off fire…” they smiled with bloodlust clearly in their eyes.
Adara groaned. "I hate when people steal my fire." In a flash, she felt herself transform. Confused, Adara glanced down at herself… and found that she had been turned into a gigantic, flaming phoenix.
"Holy crap girl, your such a show-off!!" Hinata shook her head, then turned back to the issue at hand.
"Any ideas guys?!"
Matthew who was trapped in the cubes felt the fire on the cubes. He looked at Kori, the ice fox that was slowly melting. He ordered Kori to return to the small lantern of his. On the other hand, the figure grabbed the vein like strings Cassius summoned and threw him to hit the walls of the hall. Luna didn’t really know what to do. While Aisen summoned his dual blades to slice the figure.
Hinata had Tatsuo run over to Cassius, leaving Katsuo and Kagami with her.
"You're a big bully!" Kagami stamped her foot.
