Farron could feel the tension radiating off of Azura, though he didn't comment. He knew there was something going on and he wanted to know what but didn't dare ask, yet.

@Periwinkle_

After another moment of looking around, Azura ducked inside the library. She hoped Lynn would be there. Her hand reached the bell and hit it about five times.

@Periwinkle_

She pounded her hand on the bell a few more times, and to her relief, a lanky figure came tumbling out of the back.
“Sorry, sorry,” she muttered, and collected a few papers that had drifted out of her hands. She adjusted her glasses and smiled when she realized it was Azura.
“Hi! You’re back early!”

@Periwinkle_

Azura went over to pick up the ones Lynn had dropped. “Yep. We’re headed back to Rosgard now.” She pointed to something on the table in the room that Lynn just came out of. “Guys, come here, look!”

Once they came in the room, she shut the door and whispered in Lynn’s ear, “in case we’re being watched.”

@Periwinkle_

Lynn widened her eyes at them. “I don’t know, is there?” She whispered.

Azura put a hand on her arm. “I’m not saying there is, I’m just taking safety precautions.” She noticed another door on the opposite side of the room. “Does that go outside?” She whispered. Lynn nodded.

“Then one of you can go out and see if anyone is in the front, listening. Preferably you, Lynn, since you haven’t been with us the whole time. Look around for anything suspicious.”

@Periwinkle_

Azura nodded in agreement with Farron.

“What’s all this about,” Lynn inquired, her face even more pale than usual.

“I’ll explain everything later, but don’t worry. It’ll be okay. Just go out, check, and come back. Stay safe.”

Lynn nodded and made her way out the door.

@Periwinkle_

Lyn made her way out the back door and over to a figure that was standing near the doorway.

“They’re inside, by themselves. Actually, they made sure no one followed them.” She scoffed. “Idiots.”

@Periwinkle_

Azura peeped out of the door to the front of the library.
“Nobody is there, I wonder what she’s doing.”

Lynn was waiting behind three men at the back door of the room, the one she went out of.

@Periwinkle_

She turned to face him. “What do you mean?” She asked, although she already knew. Lynn was taking too long. They should go check on her. But she wanted to know what Farron was thinking.

@Periwinkle_

She shook her head. “No. No, it can’t be a trap. Because if it’s a trap, what do we do? Where do we go? How are we getting out of this one? The best shot we have is to go out into the library and hide in the stacks. But they’ll find us.” She turned to him with wide grey eyes. “They’re going to find us.”

@Periwinkle_

Her eyes squeezed shut, she put her hands on his. You could practically see the wheels turning in her head.

“Alright, what if we go out in the front of the library and go out the window I saw on the second floor? It’s pretty high, but we should be able to make it alright. And they wouldn’t be expecting us to go out there, but we’d have to be quick.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

(Hey, sorry I disappeared for a moment… went through a tough break up…)

Farron thought it over for a moment before he nodded, “Its the only plan we have, so I guess we have to go with that.”

@Periwinkle_

She grabbed her hand and slowly opened the door. Thankfully, there was no one in sight at the front library. She pulled him up the stairs and back to the wall, which was close to the stairs, bust Incase they needed a quick escape.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Farron kept his hand on his sword just to be sure it was in reach if there was any danger that arose quickly. He kept on the lookout for anyone coming closer and made sure to listen carefully to any small noise that made itself known.

@Periwinkle_

As they settled behind a large shelf, they’re breathing slowed, and they listened for any movement. Just as they did that, two guards came in the building. The clanking and banging of their armor was driving Azura crazy. They went into the back room that they had just come out of. Azura looked over at Farron, her nerves visible through her eyes.

"This may be our only chance to escape," she whispered. "Once a few more guards go in the room, we should make a run for it. Then when we get outside, the guards might not be too many for us to handle."

@ElderGod-Carrots

Farron looked over his shoulder to where the guards had gone before looking back to Azura and nodding, “You go first. That way if they come looking it’ll give you enough chance to escape.”

@Periwinkle_

She shook her head. “We need to go together. We’ll be better off that way. If they do come after us, two is better than one.” That was part of the reason she didn't want to go first, but her words didn't do her feelings justice. She loved him. She was well aware of that. And now, when they were facing the threat of capture, she couldn't bear to leave him. If she made it out first, and he didn't follow, she'd be devastated. She knew that.

Before all of this happened, when they were still at home, before they ran away, he was what made her happy. Her day could have been absolutely horrible, but when she caught a glimpse of him through a doorway or from a window, she couldn't resist smiling. When she felt bad, he would check on her, and vice versa. They had a strong friendship, that had somehow evolved into more since they had been gone. She didn't really want to admit it to herself at first, so she would suppress her feelings sometimes, but she had stopped doing that. She just couldn't let the thing they had go to waste.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Farron looked hesitant, almost like he was about to protest but he didn’t, not when there was a shout and thundering footsteps that seemed to be moving fast, “Move, now Az.” He said, starting to guide her. His hand was at his sword, just in case he was too late at escaping.
