"I SAID STOP!" Alex slammed his hand on the desk.
Star started, but stayed asleep.

"Why Are You So Upset!" Chase yelled at Alex.

"YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW!" Alex stormed into the living room.

"God!" Chase said sitting at the foot of the bed. He glanced over at Star who was starting to wake up.

Star slowly sat up. She looked around. Seeing Alex wasn't there, she slid out of bed. She stood there, not knowing what to do.

"Hey, it's ok. I'm Chase. I don't know if you can hear me but it's ok. Just sit down and rest," Chase cooed.

Star let out a moan.
"Aaaaaaleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeex."

Chase grabbed Star's hand and led her to Alex. "She wants you," Chase said calmly.

Alex was on the couch, fuming. Star pulled her hand out of Chase's and set down on Alex's lap.

"Sorry I yelled," Chase said sitting on the floor by the couch

Star leaned on Alex. Alex sighed.
"Maybe next time you'll stop when I ask you too."

"Ya I will. I didn't mean any harm when I said those things," Chase said looking at his feet.

"No, I'm the one to blame. You didn't know why I said that."
Neither do I. That disturbs me.

"I'm the one who didn't stop when you told me too it's my fault,"

"It's fine. Just drop it." Alex rubbed Star's arm.

"Ok," Chase said quietly

Chase moved so he was sitting on the couch. He glanced over at Star. "Something seems off," Chase mumbled.

Star rubbed her head on Alex's chest.

Chase giggled. "She's like a cat,"

Star giggled.
Alex rubbed her back.
"Yeah, she is…"

"I wonder if she can speak," Chase asked, "I mean she said your name but she must have heard me say it,"

"I do too."
"Aleex goooood."
"Well, I think that's our answer," Alex laughed.

"Ya," Chase smiled. "She speaks like a 3-year-old," Chase giggled.

"A very sloooow three-year-old." Alex ruffled Star's hair.

"Ya," Chase smiled. "I bet she only knows who you are,"

Star curled up.

"She really likes you, Alex,"

"I wonder why?" Alex said, slightly sarcastically.

Chase saw Star curled upon Alex's lap. He smiled at her. "You took her in when nobody else would," Sphyra said using Chase's voice. She was looking at Star.

Chase didn't know what Sphyra said. "Sorry,"

"Don't be. Man, I wish Zayne was more likeSphyra. You know, like, not trying to take over."
