She leaned down closer to see the features of the child. It was a little girl, about 10 years old, but her hair had been roughly chopped off, and her features were somewhat hard to discern because of the wounds and blood on her face.

Bringing her here isn;t going to do much good, but we can save her, but I need you to let me take control for a moment.

Septima felt almost rigid for a moment as Skye took her over. She tried to move an arm, just to test, but nothing happened. It was almost like being paralyzed, up until Skye started moving for her. Then she felt practically like a puppet.

Just relax, don't try to do anything.. he told her quietly, staying in the same position to let her adjust to the new sensation, and to allow himself to get his bearings.

Skye let the powerful Aura flow into the small child, strengthening the child's life aura, which in turn steadied her breathing.

Septima fell quiet as she switched to purely watching what Skye did. Her thoughts were nearly blank.

Skye finally sat back, forcing control over his auras again, and soon it was like they were never there.

Septima was completely still for a few moments, then realized that she was the one in control again.
Everything go alright? she asked, Are you okay?

Fine.. I'm fine, and she should be too, it just takes a lot to keep that kind of control over my own aura. he said, his voice still calm and gentle.

Septima moves back into the tunnel and slid the bricks back in loosely.

Septima started back towards the man in the tunnel and checked on his eyes. He told her the clarity was slowly improving, and she determined she didn’t need to do anymore. It would just take time.

After waiting a few more minutes in silence, Septima checked on the man’s sight again. Now that it was strong enough for him to function, she said, Okay, I’m ready whenever you are.
