Lucian rolled over and dug under his bed, taking out a bottle of whiskey that he was supposed to use as a makeshift disinfectant in case he ran out, but he needed this. He unscrewed the cap, taking a long drink, the liquid burning his throat as it went down.

“That’s not true. I only usually go to Lucian because…………… you know. And I’m blue because I painted myself.” Alice didn’t know about Morrigan’s self harm or hallucinations, but she knew she had depression and that painting helped calm her down.

Should she trust them, join their crew never leave. Or maybe just stick with the original plan and leave at the next city. Or maybe she could steal a row boat and row away and find another boat.
