"Yeah, I learnt that I while ago," he replied, rolling the pencil between two fingers. "I think I learnt it back when you first started flirting with me,"

She smiled. "And look where that got us. Think what would have happened if I hadn't flirted with you."

"I wouldn't want it any other way," he said. "It just feels like so long ago,"

She nodded. "Yeah, it does. It feels like we've been together for a lifetime."

"I think it's the constant near-death experiences," he guessed.

"Maybe." Phoebe shrugged.

"If you could do it all again, would you?" he asked.

"Yes, because it means I get to be with you. And I wouldn't trade you for the world."

"That's a first," Ryker muttered.

She reached over and grabbed his hand. She held onto it. "Screw them, whoever made you hurt. I'm here. I want you. Focus on me and not them."

He smiled and squeezed her hand. "Gladly," he said. Something popped into his head. "You know, you didn't actually tell me why you saved me,"

"Why wouldn't I? You mean everything to me. Why would I let you die?"

Teri was suddenly feeling the urge to yell, Enough with the sappy! but resisted.

"There's three simple words that could say that much easier," he informed, smirking.

She laughed. "I love food?" She asked teasingly.

"Okay, I decided to stay in case of monsters, but ENOUGH WITH THE SAPPY!!!!" Teri yelled to Ryker and Phoebe.

"Correct! You win a billion pizzas," he joked.

She laughed. "I love you, Ryker."

"Okay, why are you guys ignoring me?"

"Sorry, I didn't catch that?" Ryker joked, leaning closer to Phoebe.

She stopped walking in front of him and put her arms around his neck. "I love you." She whispered and kissed him.

"Oh, come on!" Teri groaned, attempting to pull the two apart.

He pulled her closer and kissed her back. He pulled away for a second. "Congrats, you're the first person to hear this from me. I love you, too." he said.

"Really? How sappy. Move it!"

She smiled and melted against him. She sighed softly and pulled away. She held onto his hand and started walking again. "Well, I am honored."

"You should be," he joked. He started tracing her knuckles with his fingers. He looked around at the dark walls. "Is it just me, or is the tunnel getting narrower?"

"Guys, it is getting narrower."

She smiled. She looked around, eyes narrowing. "Not just you."

"Great," he muttered. It was definitely getting narrower, and fast. "Let's just keep walking,"

"Are you sure? I don't want to get stuck, or flattened."
