“Well—“ he scratched his neck “—he kinda died the same time I did, so we ended up together. It was a car crash so…” he laughed ruefully.
“Well—“ he scratched his neck “—he kinda died the same time I did, so we ended up together. It was a car crash so…” he laughed ruefully.
"I see." Hinata sighed.
"Well, at least you had someone."
“I guess that’s tr—“ he wasn’t able to finish his sentence as Kohaku jumped on his face and blinded him.
Hinata laughed.
"Cats."
Matthew got a grasp of the feline and held him away from his face. Kohaku then jumped on his head and laid there. “Cats indeed…” he giggled.
Jamie walked in with a bunch of documents. “Hey Matthew, mind arranging these for me? I need to arrange this other bunch” he asked. “Eh, sure, alphabetically right?” Matthew asked as Jamie nodded and started arranging the other bunch.
"Want some help? I can understand if I can't but I could be of some assistance," Hinata asked.
“Nah, you don’t have to. Oh, well you could help take care of Kohaku here while I take care of these” Matthew said as he started arranging the documents. Kohaku jumped from his head to Hinata’s lap and yawned.
"Sure!" Hinata smiled.
(Is there anything I should know about this cat?)
(He’s an amber Maine Coon, he likes getting pet, he likes to listen to music, likes tuna way too much and is a slight brat :D)
(Good to know)
Hinata gently stroked Kohaku.
Kohaku purred with satisfaction and waved his tail around while Matthew finished half the pile. “Jamie, seriously, are these documents from decades ago? They’re all dusted…” Matthew complained while Jamie giggled.
Hinata scratched him behind the ears.
"You handsome thing."
Kohaku rolled left and right on Hinata’s lap, he seemed to like her. On the other hand, Matthew and Jamie both rechecked their arrangements. “I think mine’s done…” Matthew insisted. “Same…” Jamie replied. Matthew stood up leaving Kohaku with Hinata. “I’ll be back soon, I have to review some of these as well” Matthew left them and went to the office room with Jamie.
"Okay then!" Hinata was loving this. When she would get home, however, Ayumu would give her an earful.
Kohaku was a smart cat, he raised his arms up wanting Hinata to carry him by his arms.
Hinata complied.
"Damn, Ayumu's gonna kill me, but I don't really care."
Kohaku is pleased with himself and had a smiling cat face. He let out a happy meow.
"You know, you're one of the most expressive cats I've met." Hinata giggled.
Kohaku didn’t understand what she said but he smiled after she said that.
Tolkalee couldn't help but smile at the way Hinata and the cat got along.
Hinata smiled.
"I love cats."
Kohaku noticed Tolkalee, he leaped from Hinata’s grasp to land on Tolk’s face.
Hinata laughed.
"You good Tolkalee?"
Kohaku gnawed on Tolkalee’s hair again and still looks pleased with himself as he’s doing it.
loki sat down due to being tired but still angry about what Forest did "I feel horrible. I must be the worst big sister ever." slumping down she puts her head in her hands
After sometime, Matthew walked out of the office. He came back seeing Kohaku gnawing on Tolkalee’s hair…he gave a concerned glance.
Tolkalee just stood there with a smile on his face. "This is just what my sister's cat does," he looked up at it. "Are you two related?"
Hinata shrugged.
"It's been going on for a few minutes." She quickly put her phone away, with which she had been filming the entire endeavor.
(awkward)
loki looked around hoping no one noticed her and smiled to see she was alone then felt how she saw alone
Matthew gave a more concerned look at the fact that Hinata was recording the whole thing. He then answered Tolk’s question. “We died together, so…you know, here we are”
