Forest let out a sigh. The blades in front of Hinata disappeared… “If you stay here…your dead parents would probably be happier, you would too…”

Hinata turned to Forst.
"The only thing my parents want for me is for me to do my job, protecting others, like I had sworn to do to them."

"On a Dimensional scale," She added at the end.

"Yeah I do," he stood up and pulled out his short sword. "I was ten when I watch a crazy person slaughter my abusive parents and then force me into her military. I was separated from my little sister as well. For over thirty years."

Adara shuddered. "How do you stand it being in here?"

Forest grabbed Connor’s shoulder and whispered something. Forest then walked away.

(This is what he said for those interested…)

"I watched my entire world blow up, I can't die, I can't have kids no matter how hard I try, and I had a vision that nearly everyone I care about is going to die, and there is nothing I can do to change it." Hinata started to cry.

Cassius slightly smiled. “The great part of our job is keeping the cycle running. We take care of the dead and bring them back to life when their souls are strong enough. People like you have come here often, and the portal doesn’t open only once. We might look like the reapers and devils to some of you, but I like to think that we’re neither that nor are we angels. We’re like the middle of heaven and hell, paradise to some, living nightmare to some…”

Forest turned back. “Well…you can actually cheat their death by being a Knight…”

Adara looked at him before breaking into the first smile she had had the entire time she had been in here. "What's it like, with those two as siblings?"

Cassius smirked. “The worst siblings I could ever NOT ask for”

Hinata shook her head.
"Fate doesn't work that way with me. When I have a vision, it will come to pass."

Adara laughed. "I can tell. I was with them for a few days. Worst moments of my life. They're so arrogant!"

Forest looked away at the wall. “How do you feel after hearing that…Moirai…?” A figure walked out from the shadows, they were listening the whole time.

Loki looked back at at Alex "your quiet. Why?"

"I've been around for 413 years. My world is constantly at war, and so I get pulled into every single one," Tolkalee broke into a coughing fit as he tried limping towards Hinata. "The only reason I haven't given up yet is because I made a promise."

Hinata looked to the newcomer.

"I've been around long enough to make you look like a babe, Tolkalee. Don't pull the age card on me."

Alex was lost in thoughts, he didn’t expect to see his sister here. “Eh, uh, nothing…I was just distracted…”

The figure that Forest called Moirai had a white scarf with the black Chinese character 命 (which means ‘fate’) on it.

Cassius laughed. “Hah, tell me about it. By the way, which of them is your preferred one?”

"What I'm getting at here, is that I've been around for a long time. All of my friends have died. I have been a part of millions of wars, and I keep going." He pulled the blade out of his chest, and raised his sword facing Knight K.

Adara stared at him. "What do you mean, 'my prefered one'?"

loki nods "come on we need to find a portal. Hold on Alex" Loki unfolds her wings and grabs her brother

The figure named Moirai stood between Tolkalee and Connor. Their voice was pleasant to the ear. “Now now…no need to hurry…your fate isn’t here yet nor is yours…” he pointed to Connor then to Tolkalee. “Tell me something…do you miss your comrades, your friends…?” Moirai asked Tolkalee.

Cassius giggled. “Which one of them do you like more? C’mon there’s gotta be one that you like more than the other”

Adara rolled her eyes, though her thoughts went to Aisen. "Neither."

Alex is slightly terrified when she picked him up but got calm after sometime. “Do you even know where the portal is? The Knights said that it changes everyday”

Cassius’ eyes turned blank for a second but returned to being green like Carlsen’s. “Your mind does speak louder than your words” Cassius smirked.
