"Nah man. Lactose intolerant," Connor replied. "But they normally give me a plain waffle cone if I ask for it. Could I grab one of those? I'll keep talking to James then."

@gracehustle

"Sure, no problem." He headed up to the counter and put the order in, getting the plain cone for Connor and triple chocolate for both him and Jami.

"So I was thinking that the title of the song could be [insert song title here]. I've already started to write it slightly, but not a lot. Also, maybe my stage name could be Jami. It's easy to remember and looks good on an album cover.

@gracehustle

They gave him the ice cream and he paid for it, bringing back the order and setting the correct item in front of each of them before starting on his own.

"Thanks man," Connor said as he bit into the ice cream cone. Jami took a few spoons of ice cream into her mouth before switching Peter with Fiona, covering the baby with the cloth.

@gracehustle

“No problem.” He started eating his ice cream and carefully picked Peter up as well, cradling him in his arms with a smile.

"This is really good ice cream," She commented, taking a few more spoons. "We should come here more often Seb."

"So what happens if I make it big?" Jami asked suddenly. It made Connor think a bit.
"Look, James. I don't really know. Hitting it big happens differently for everyone in the music business. I guess we'll just have to wait and see."

@gracehustle

Sebastian resumed his quietness, finishing his ice cream quickly and focusing on keeping Peter distracted and happy.

Jami pulled Fiona out from under the cloth, fixed her shirt and then let the baby latch onto her finger. She smiled at her daughter, then looked over and smiled at her son.

@gracehustle

"I can take Fia if you want, then you can focus on your music stuff." He suggested, motioning to where he already had Peter cradled in his arms, with a spot across from him open for Fia.

She shook her head. "No, it's fine," She replied, shaking Fiona's hand a little. "Besides, I don't know if she'd let go. She's latched onto her finger."

@gracehustle

He nodded in response but reached his hand out towards Fia and Jami anyway, rubbing the back of his daughters hand before turning to Peter.

Connor watched them. "You two are really good parents," He said. "And you make really adorable babies."
"Thanks, Connor."

@gracehustle

Sebastian laughed, "I suppose we do, they are quite cute." He smiled at Peter and then Fia, happy to be able to spend time with the twins.

"And it means a lot to me that you think I'm a good mother," She said softly. "I'm really trying to be a better mother than my own mother. She didn't really care too much about me."

Deleted user

She blushed, smiling. "Thanks, Seb." It really did mean a lot to her that they were saying she was a good mother.

@gracehustle

"No problem, I have to let you know how amazing you are somehow." He replied, glancing back at Connor, "Now, don't let me interrupt anymore, you two figure out this music thing."

Jami looked expectantly at Connor, not knowing if they were going to be continuing. "Ah, we don't really need to discuss anything more, most of it will be done tomorrow," He replied.

She started to think, then heard someone singing and playing the guitar. She got up and walked over, wanting to join in.

@gracehustle

Sebastian watched his wife and eventually got up to follow her, setting Peter back in the pram gently so he wouldn't hurt his son in any way.

The busker spotted Jami, and invited her over. She handed Fiona to Sebastian and then sat beside the busker, singing along with her.

"Do you want to play something?" The busker asked, handing Jami her guitar.
"Oh, no. I couldn't."
"I insist."
"OK then."

Jami started to play a tune, one that wasn't recognisable, as it was her own.
"You like New York City in the daytime
I like New York City in the nighttime
You say you like sleeping with the air off
I don't, I need it on
"
