Silver sighed, "Probably.."
Silver sighed, "Probably.."
"Hm… okay, then," Aurelius said softly.
His eyelids fluttered a little as he started struggling to stay awake.
Silver curled around him, "Don't fight sleep, you need it.." he said tiredly.
"You do too," Aurelius replied, "I'll definitely sleep some more. It's you I'm worried about."
"I know.." said Silver, already half asleep.
Aurelius began to drift off, slumped against Silver still. He was still hurting a lot, but he didn't want to bother anyone. Besides, maybe he could sleep it off.
Silver, still in wolf form, curled around him protectively, eventually drifting off to sleep.
Aurelius woke up and started to feel a little panicky at first when he couldn't figure out where he was. He slowly remembered, and relaxed. Aurelius was still feeling a bit strange from the night before; the dull remnants of pain radiated down his limbs. He turned to Silver, who was still asleep.
Silver had curled protectively around the other, and didn't look like he was moving any time soon.
Aurelius decided to lean against Silver again and rest, just waiting until he woke up.
About fifteen minutes later another wolf with similar colorings to Silver, but with more white fur, came in. He was a bit larger, and was padding calmly towards them.
Aurelius looked up.
"Hey, is it time to go?" he asked, his voice very soft.
Glaceiro nodded. "Yeah, and you'll be riding with me today. I just need to get Silver up."
"O-okay… Is he alright?" Aurelius suddenly had a twinge of worry in his voice.
"He'll be fine.." said Glace, "But dreamwalking does take a lot of energy, so he'll have minor aura drain. It's nothing he won't recover from easily, he'll just be more tired and sleepy than usual. Hence why he hasn't gotten up yet."
"That's good," Aurelius murmured, beginning to sit up.
Glace nodded, shifting. He looked a lot like Silver, though a bit older. Finally he stood over the wolf, sighing. "Alright, I'm going to show you something, and he's gonna hate me.." he said, smirking.
Aurelius started to stand and got back a bit. He grinned.
"And what might that be?"
Glaceiro smirked, reaching down behind Silver's ear. Reaching into Silver's fur he rubbed it in a circular motion. Silver suddenly shifted back involuntarily, still asleep. Glaceiro grinned, moving his fingers and tickling the other.
Silver started laughing, trying to roll away from the other. "G-Glaceirooo!!!" he yelled, giggling, "Stop it you big jerk!!" he howled in laughter.
"Heh… I'll keep that one in mind for later," Aurelius said quietly.
Silver finally manged to flip them, shifting and pinning the other. "Jerk!" he growled, huffing a little.
Glaceiro laughed, "Yeah yeah I know little bro, I know.."
Aurelius stood back, his arms crossed in amusement.
"Sleep well?" he asked.
Silver was still growling at his older brother. "Yeah. Until this jerk came.."
Glaceiro laughed again. "Just not that this pup is very ticklish!" he said, earning another growl from Silver, who huffed and let him up. "I hate you Glace…." he said.
Aurelius giggled and clamped a hand over his mouth to quiet himself.
"So off we are, I guess?"
Silver huffed, "Yeah.. I guess we are…" he said.
Glace sighed shifting back. "Like I told Aurelius earlier, he's riding with me…"
"Yup, wouldn't want to tire you out more after the whole dreamwalking thing," Aurelius confirmed.
"I told you I'm fine." he said.
"But you will tire more easily and you know it." said Glaceiro flatly, leaving no room for argument. "I don't care if you would be fine either way, as your older brother I won't let you."
“And neither will I,” Aurelius confirmed, “Being on your side, I’m gonna have to argue against your stubbornness.”
Silver huffed. But he argued no further. Glaceiro nodded, smiling at Aurelius.
Aurelius gave a nod to Glaciero.
I guess I’m already kind of figuring out what makes him tick and how to take care of him, Aurelius thought. I want to be able to help him make up for any weaknesses, and I know overworking yourself can be deadly…
“Alright, shall we get going, then? If you’re alright to go, Silver?”
