The Announcer continued from there.
“Now, we have another special rule added this time. Bounty…I will explain what that means. Every Knight and Officer will have a specific target amongst each other. If you succeed in eliminating your bounty target, an additional thousand points will be added to your board…”
When the Announcer finished, the background crew gave each of the Knights and Officers a piece of paper to see who their Bounty is. Some had a smile on their face and some…looked hopeless.
Hinata looked up.
"I wonder who they are?"
A spirit approached Adara. “Hey…why are you here on your own…?”
The Clock Tower outside chimed once again, signaling a start to the hunt. Almost immediately after the clock chimed, one of the Knight was eliminated. A group of blades pierced him from all directions, trapping him in place and killing him in the process.
“Knight K, Connor awarded additional thousand points, Knight A, Aisen eliminated.” The Announcer said.
Hinata jumped.
"Well, crap. That started with a bang."
Behind the monitors, Knight A who was eliminated walked out into the hall itself.
On the other hand, another person was eliminated.
“Scientist awarded additional thousand points, Knight J, Oliver eliminated” The scientist on the screen walked pass Knight J’s corpse with a grin.
Hinata saw Knight A.
"This could be bad. If eliminated Knights come here, I'd better keep a low profile."
“Knight F, Cronos, Legend Target : Pisces, claimed” the Announcer said with a surprised voice.
Knight J, Oliver walked out and complained with Knight A.
Adara scowled at the spirit. "Because I can."
The spirit had a face similar to Aisen’s and Carlsen’s but they don’t appear to be alive in anyway. They looked back when they heard that Aisen was eliminated and sighed.
Adara tilted her head, staring at the spirit. "Who are you?"
“Hm? My name?” The spirit cleared their throat. “The name’s Cassius Faltur, Aisen’s and Carlsen’s older brother. Though I don’t necessary serve much of a role as my brothers here” he chuckled and smiled.
“Musician awarded additional thousand points, Knight I, Lachlan, eliminated…Knight K, Connor claimed Legend Target : Capricorn” the Announcer said.
Hinata listened.
"Damn. I should probably get out of here." She turned to go, but a large number of souls blocked the way back.
The Announcer seemed to be shocked at the upcoming result.
“Uh…Knight F, Cronos claimed Legend Targets : Mercury, Aries and Gemini and was awarded additional thousand points, Musician eliminated…”
Knight F on the screen continued around the chambers with a smile on his face, but blood on his cloth.
"nah i could miss that. What is your name sir?" Loki shrugged at the event and went into her questions
Galahad had no time for this stupid game! He was here to find his siblings or die trying, and he wasn't about to let some madman and his game get in the way. The needle was pointing at a wall, and so Galahad decided that he would take the Yama route and use brute force. He unlocked the cylinder of Grimoire and gave it a spin. It flashed a dim white, and then he pulled the trigger. A flash emanated from the barrel, but nothing happened. He tried again, and the same thing happened, a bright white flash, and then nothing. Grumbling, he spun the barrel again. The cylinder glowed a bright red, something he hadn't seen in a long while. He placed both hands on the handle, braced his feet, and fired. A gigantic blast cut a large hole through the wall, and when the dust cleared it seemed the blast went further than he thought. It cut through multiple walls, and he thought he could see something akin to a "center" of this maze.
"Maybe brute force does work on occasion," he pondered. Galahad continued through the path of his own creation.
Hinata listened.
"How is it surprising? He used to be a God, and he can manipulate time." She had a suspicion he just wanted to get a second chance, but she didn't say it out loud.
The spirit with Loki answered her question “The name’s Forest, why was it important…?”
On the other hand, The Knights that were eliminated heard the blast that Galahad had made. They hurried to where the sound came from.
Hinata heard the blast and looked around.
"Not good."
The Master of the labyrinth was watching above the spirits in the hall. “Very nice Cronos…how desperate of you…” The Master said to himself as he watched the hunt.
Seth was watching with wide eyes. "It's been awhile since I've seen something this brutal."
Hinata moved towards the area the explosion had come from.
loki sighed and asked "have you met an Alex?"
“Knight C, Carlsen awarded additional thousand points, Knight E, Rainer eliminated…
Knight L, Joseph awarded additional thousand points, Knight B, Nathan eliminated…
Knight H, Asher awarded additional thousand points, Scientist eliminated…”
The Announcer was struggling to keep up in the pace in which people were getting eliminated.
The Spirit named Forest answered…”Uh, no. Never heard of an Alex around here”
Hinata listened.
"Damn, they really want to win this."
