I remember a girl from elementary school, she had wavy brown hair and was fun to talk to. I realized I had a major crush on her in fourth grade, but we had been put in separate classes by then. We still talked, and I remember falling for her despite never acting on anything. It was that kind of puppy love you see in TV shows where the kid has this dopey smile while sitting in the back of the class. She moved away in at the end of sixth grade, but she gave me a hug. I certainly considered that a win! I also remember that she didn't like things like pizza, ice cream, and burgers, and was also allergic to strawberries. One of the stranger food allergies, to say the least. I wonder whatever happened to her?

To be for real, my first crush was not what I'd call a "crush". I was too young to understand love, and being a kid who grew up watching Disney I was desperate to have love in my life. So any guy who would normally be considered my friend I automatically had a crush on.
