(I love these two so maybe just a new plotline. I'm thinking like an elemental training camp? And different elements aren't supposed to interact with each other but Fiona is new and gets lost and meets Rio accidentally? And yeah?)
Sounds like something Rio would do!
(So yeah? We're going with that?)
(Got it! Also, I was thinking they're younger in this because it's meant to be a camp and I'm thinking Percy Jackson style)
Helena's Camp For The Supernaturally Talented was a training ground for kids with gifted abilities. Or as the normal kids called it, Freak Breeding Grounds. And now 16 year old Fiona was added to their list. As a light elemental, she was dressed in a bright yellow polo shirt with a pair of tan shorts like everyone else. It was just after lunch and Fiona had lost her guide and now she was panicking. "Of course, I get lost on my first day because of course I do!" She huffed, wandering around the empty campus. She was aware of the strict rules that different elementals needed to stay separated but for right now she could barely tell which way was right or left so she just kept walking and prayed to God she'd find another light elementalist.
(Sorry I will get back to you, but when i have access to a proper keyboard again.)
Rio wandered around campus, almost hoping to meet other elementals. He kept walking, letting the wind play with his hair. He half wished his brother were here, but Rashi wouldn't have fit in well.
Her eyes flicked around, searching for the blue of the water elementals, green of the earth elementals, and the white of the air elementals. Lord knows what Nicole would do to her if she found out.
Rio tugged at his blue t-shirt, wishing he could find a lake or something.
She came out of yet another hallway and spotted him. The blue fabric told her she was very much lost and in the wrong part of town. But maybe he'd help her… "Hey!"
Rio looked up, spotting a girl wearing a yellow shirt. She's in the wrong area… he thought, coming over, waving.
"Um, can you help me find my way? I lost my guide and don't know where I am." She smiled shyly.
Rio smiled, pulling a paper out of his pocket, "Sure, better to help you out beore you get in trouble.." he said, chuckling as he opened the map,
"Thank you." She sighed in relief, glancing over the map to try to find where she was and how to get back to the light section.
Rio smiled, "Anything for a beauty like you" he said, looking her over.
She glanced back up at him, a shocked blush crossing her face before she looked back down. "Alright, I think I got it. Thanks so much." She started to step away, although she didn't really want to. He was so cute.
Rio smirked at that, tucking the papers back in his pocket. "You sure you have to leave?" He asked.
"I-I mean, I don't see the harm in staying a little longer. B-But you'll get in trouble if we get c-caught and I don't want that to happen. B-Because you seem like a nice person, that's all." God, why are words so difficult? And why can't I stop stuttering?? She mentally kicked herself for it.
"Yeah, I get that you shouldn't stay long," said Rio, "but that doesn't mean you have to go right away."
"Y-Yeah, definitely." She flashed a nervous smile. "Sorry, I s-stutter when I-I'm nervous."
Rio smiled, "It's okay," he said, "Everyone has their quirks, besides, I think it's cute…."
She blushed bright red, looking back down at the floor. "A-Are you sure you're okay with me being here? You c-could get in trouble."
Rio smiled, "Of course I am," he said, "You're a light elemental, right?"
"Y-Yeah. And you're w-water, right?" She glanced back up at him, admiring his features.
Rio nodded, "Technically I count as an air elemental too, but my main element is water."
"T-That's cool." She flashed a nervous smile. "I really should be getting back, p-people are probably looking f-for me."
(Okay, been thinking about this all day, and I hate to admit it, but I'm not feeling this relationship, (Between Rio and Fiona.) and as a writer I'm finding it very hard to actually write this. So, suggestion, I think we should try one more time, but this time mix it all up. Actually compare notes and do something both of us are going to have fun with. I like you as a fellow writer, but I'm just not feeling it for this plot.
Yeah, I'll admit, it does feel a little forced. Maybe we should stay away from supernatural things and just have a basic relationship and see where it takes us. Try and do something simple before starting something more ambitious.
I don't think it's the supernatural, I think it's more that I am:
A). Fairly certain, after going back to some of the snipets I've written for Rio, that he's not straight.
B). I am not good at writing Straight relationships.
C). The last one had not enough magic in it, and trying to write two characters well, is kinda hard.
I think we should mix it up with different characters, maybe a not straight relationship, and a plot based a little more on a fantastical aspect.
I know both of us know how to do relationships, and write well, I just think that we might have been trying to shove two incompatible pieces together in a way they don't belong..
