He groaned in pain but didn't complain anymore

Jay knocked on the door some more. He just waited for the door to open.

She unlocked the door briskly

"Thank you." Jay said and put Brink down onto a chair.

She nodded

"Alright. Now how much does your shoulder hurt?" Jay asked and pulled out various things from a cabinet.

"Extremely" she said

"Ok. Well come over here."

Vanessa walked to jay

He grabbed her arm and grabbed a bottle off of the counter. "How do you feel about me pouring this hydrogen peroxide on your wound."

" peachy " she said sarcastically

Jay smiled then opened the bottle and poured it onto Vanessa's wound.

She hissed in pain " dang you jay"

Brink slumped into the chair and watched as Jay addressed Vanessas wound. He started muttering random words to pass the time "blind, wind, time, short, not enough, too much, good thing, bad person, problems, solutions, Chaos."

"oh shhhhhhh." Jay replied then cleaned and covered the wound up. Then he gave her water and medicine.

" I'm gonna kill an then I'm gonna die

"Shut up and take the medicine." He said and washed his hands. "Hey Brink. You alright? Like not mentally but just ok?"

" they ruined my life that said they'd keep him safe if i.eneded my relationship and what do they do out him a straight jacket" she said.

He tilted his head back and laughed, shutting his eyes closed right like he did at the asylum "I couldn't be better!"

Jay walked over to Brink and slapped him across the face. "Alright. Both of you need to mellow down. Also both of you need to work out your problems while I go find some stuff." He said then walked out of the room.

" that's unfair" she yrlled.

He shook his head and sighed "ow Jay, been holding g that one in for a while now?" Brink laughed as Jay walked out. He glanced at Vamessa and frowned, not saying a word

" I had a perfectly good reason for wht I did and it wasn't because Itdon't love you" she said.

Brink cracked a humorless grin "where did that come from kitty cat? I haven't said a word against you and youcome out with this lovely confession."

" loo you probally don't love me and breaking upmwith with you was 9roblly your realization thst you never loved me" she said.

He tilted his head and stood, despite The sharp pain in his head tellgng him otherwise. He slowly walked over to her and tilted her head up with his hand " I will always love you kitty, no matter how many times you keep breaking my heart." He said softly, taking a step back

"I don't want to hurt you I'm a cat there's amsmall list of people I love and brink your on top cats protect the ones they love they told me if I ended my relationship with you you wouldn't be harmed

Brink rolled his eyes "I'm not going to pretend to know who they are. I'm guessing they told you to work at the asylum? The same one my parents were committed to and then me? The same one you pro.ised to save me from if I ever went there? The same one I told you I wouldn't come back the same as I came in." He sat back down

Jay walked back into the room his shirt covered in blood and several things in his arms "Alright, so I found apple juice, more drugs, a dude I hoped died after I pushed him off a cliff, a girl whose neck I snapped after she stole my McDonald's… I was really sure she was dead… Also I have m&M's." Jay said then handed them both a bottle of apple juice and M& M's.

Vaness sniffled and sat back after takig it from him
