"i think he's coming" miko sighed, stood up, and stalked off to go practice her magic

"Ok," Ellie stood up and met Arien at the door.

"Is she okay?" He asked.

miko causes a fire burst she couldn't fully control due to anger an sadness

miko stumbles back to the cabin halfway awake "i-i don't think that was a good idea" when she reached the couch she passed out

"Ya, I'll tell you later," Ellie told Arien. "She used too much power,"

miko groaned "why do i have emotions?"

"All humans do Miko," Ellie softly said

"well it sucks" miko said in a low tone

"Miko don't beat yourself up,"

Miko was quiet for the first time in forever

"Arien, follow me," Ellie whispered in Arien's ear.

Arien nodded.

Ellie led Arien outside.

"What is it?"

Ellie shut the front door after Arien got fully out the door. "I going to tell you what happened with Miko," Ellie whispered

"And?" Arien was worried about his friend.

"Ok, she is upset at both of us. She liked you, and when she heard you say you liked me as a "friend" she got upset. She hated the way you spoke to me. I told her I was sorry because I liked it it's some of the nicest things people have ever told me," Ellie started pacing in front of Arien. She started trailing off but continued to pace.

Arien stood there, thinking.

Ellie continued pacing with stress and anxiety.

Arien put a hand on Ellie's shoulder.
"I'm sure there is a way we can help her."

Ellie stopped moving. "I bet she hates me. I'm supposed to be her best friend," Ellie started rambling random gibberish in a high pitch squeaky voice.

"She doesn't hate you. There's no way anyone could!"

"You're too nice. We've been friends for a long time and I basically stabbed her with FEELINGS!" Ellie continued rambling in the high pitched voice.

"Stop! Breathe, calm down. Everything will work out in the end."

Ellie gave out a loud squeal. " No it won't," Ellie yelled as she continued pacing

Arien grabbed Ellie by the shoulders.
"Breath," he commanded.

Ellie breathed and rested her head on Arien's shoulder. She sighed, "what if everything isn't going to be ok."

"It will. I promise." Knowing what he had to do broke his heart.

Ellie used her powers. She didn't know what he had to do but Ellie became very nervous. "What do you need to do," Ellie asked him looking him dead in the eyes.
