Daso laughed again. " I know, I know. I'm Prince Charming." He paused, turning towards the commotion near the side of the boat. "What's Joanna yelling about? Is Kameo back?"

Kameo smiled and attached it to the sides of the boat, climbing up and pulling the boat along too. When they touched down on the boat, Kameo pushed Joanna away and led Ace to quarantine.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't be." and then Ace was locked inside.

Ace pulled off his gas mask and sat on the floor of the glass enclosure, already bored.

Cicada's arms were getting tired and they were all still on the deck.

"Oh god. . . it's Ace." She breathed out, rushing over to Kameo. "Is he alright?"

"He's sick." Kameo pointed at him. "I'm having a hard time believing… that he's not dead."

Cicada decided to pull herself up before her body gave out on her. She quickly ran and hid hoping no one would find her.

"Ace isn't dead?" Daso nearly yelled. "How?"

"Is he actually there?" Leah asked, hoping that isn't wasn't some hallucination that she had conjured.

"I think so." Kameo waved and Ace waved back, blowing a kiss, "It's definitely him."

"Land sakes, where has he been!? I thought he was dead!"

"Same flirt as always." She chuckled, looking at him. "Let's hope we can make a cure soon."

"This is definitely cause for celebration." Daso grinned, clapping his hands. "Ace literally came back from the dead."

"Yeah." Kameo ran a hand through his hair. "I don't know where he's been, ask him."

"I made scones if anybody's interested."

Cicada held in her gag. Apparently the strange man was Kameo and the infected one was Ace. She didn't exactly know who the ret of them were, but she mot certainly didn't want them to find her out.

"Hopefully he won't go back." Leah said, her face darkening a little. "We can get some samples and Kameo can start working. When do you think it's safe to move him to the infirmary?"

"This is definitely cause for celebration." Daso grinned, clapping his hands. "Ace literally came back from the dead."

"I agree." Ace's voice was muffled from behind the glass, "I demand cake."

Kameo sighed, "No idea, maybe if the cure works."

"I made scones." Joanna said, rising her voice for Ace to hear. "Is that alright?"

"And, Daso taught me to dance." She laughed, glancing at him. "I think we can celebrate a little."

“What?!” Morrigan was nearly crying. “You’re alive?!”

Ace smiled, "Morrigan! And scones sound good, Jo-Jo."

"And then we can celebrate again when Ace is cured." Daso grinned. "More celebrations!"

Cicada heard the word scones and immediately started salivating. It took all of her concentration to not come out from her hiding spot, but she was sure her stomach growled.

Joanna gave a thumbs up and went to get the scones.

Morrigan stripped forward tentatively. “Will it hurt if I hug you? Where have you been?!”

"Good to see that your alive, Ace." Leah grinned, but paused, thinking that she heard something. She turned around and walked across the deck. "Kameo, did anyone come onto the boat with you?"
