He rolled his eyes, "Being and 18 is fine for me, now let's keep going." He started walking away from the bodies, not looking back at her.
He rolled his eyes, "Being and 18 is fine for me, now let's keep going." He started walking away from the bodies, not looking back at her.
She looked at the bodies, let out an annoyed scream and then followed after Sylas, determined to find her family.
He chuckled lightly to himself, knowing that most people didn't like his style. it was the only way he could make sure someone wasn't going to come up behind him though, and that's why he did it.
"If we find my family and don't fail this mission, I won't hold the killing against you," Mickey said as she walked past her partner.
"No one is going to hold the killing against me even if we do fail," He replied confidently. As his partner walked by he kept her pace and walked alongside of her.
She didn't look at him, but whispered "I will". It was more to herself, but she needed to say it anyway. Sure, others at headquarters night not, but she would. This was her family on the line.
He had heard the comment but chose to ignore it, clearing his throat as they continued on, still searching for the captives they were rescuing.
Mickey walked past him, both wanting to be the person to find her family and not wanting to look at Sylas at the point in time.
"See anything?" He asked quietly, following a few steps behind her with a hand carefully on his knife incase it was needed.
She shook her head. Reaching up, she unpinned her headdress and pulled it down. Unbeknownst to many, even Sylas, the headdress was a secret gadget. She knew that she'd be able to hide it in the form of a headdress, and so far shed done it.
He nodded and looked around, not sure as to what he should be doing since there was nothing around, that he could see anyway.
She pressed a button and the headdress became the staff of a bow, a piece of string being attached after the formation. She took her earrings out and connected them, pressing a button that made them into an arrow.
"Didn't expect that." He said, nodding in supprise, "Now, where are we going?"
She smirked. "Just goes to show how good of a techie I really am. Even though techie is only minor, since I'm a field agent too."
He shrugged, "I would expect something like that, but headdresses don't usually have enough structural support to become a bow. The earring arrows are quite neat though."
"I guess you underestimate what I can do then," She replied, looking around the corner. Her breath hitched in her throat when she saw her family, and she turned back with her heart racing.
"See them?" He guessed, taking his knife back out and glancing around the corner, "Alright, we have to get them out of there first, you can do that and I'll take care of the baddies. If anything happens, take whoever you've gotten out away from here, I'll follow if I can."
"I can't hold three people, Sylas," Mickey hissed, but she knew he was right. She aimed, and the arrow pierced the glass 'container' that Matteo was in, her older brother being the best person to help her get everyone out.
He took a step out from behind the corner and twirled his knife, ready to take down anyone that came close to the containers or anyone they were trying to rescue.
"Hey! What was that?!" A guard yelled, seeing the arrow hit the container. Mickey did a few front handsprings and landed with her foot kicking the frecture made by the arrow.
"That was nothing, just turn back around and stay quiet and maybe you can live." Sylas said calmly, walking confidently to where the guards stood and keeping heir attention more on him than her.
The glass shattered, and Mickey caught Matteo as he fell forward. "Teo? Teo? Please, wake up. It's me, Mikayla," She pleaded, trying to make him come to enough so that he could help her.
He quickly dealt with the guards, not killing them, but making sure they wouldn't wake up for quite a while. "Anyone else you see right away that I need to take care of?"
"Get Gracie," She replied, right as Matteo started to come to.
"Kay?" He asked groggily, almost as if he'd been sleeping for a while.
"Yeah, Teo it's me. Come on, I need you to be here."
"Alright then." He walked to the pod of sorts that she was in and gave it a few well placed kicks with his foot, the glass spiderwebbing but not breaking.
"Oh, my head," Matteo moaned.
"I need you to walk on your own so that I can get Liv out."
Sylas glanced at the two of them, "We know that, but you have to listen to your sister. We're trying to get you out of here." He kicked angrily at the glass again and it finally broke, leaving Gracie to collapse into Sylas' arms, which she did.
Matteo leaned a hand against the still mostly intact glass container. "Get Liv. I'll be fine." Mickey then gave a few kicks to where Olivia was being held. It shattered quickly, and she fell into the Indian's arms.
"Now, Matteo? Are you strong enough to carry Gracie? I'll cover you guys as you leave." He scooped the girl into his arms and brought her to him, already looking around for any new baddies.
Matteo held the weight of his sister while Mickey tried to get Olivia to come to. She kept glancing up to see if anyone was coming. "We need to get out of here as soon as possible."
