“Hm okay…” Torva nodded, “So, Arthur, what do you want to do today?”
“Hm okay…” Torva nodded, “So, Arthur, what do you want to do today?”
"Depends on what you need for the opening" he said, "I'd imagine we're going for flashy since this whole thing is basically to show off."
Jay looked excited as he listened.
Torva smiled, “Very flashy. So what’s the coolest flashiest power you have?”
Arthur rolled his eyes with a chuckle, summoning a violet and silver whisp to his hand. Suddenly he was a few feet out in the field.
Torva watched Arthur and watched how Jay reacted.
Jay had powered on his HRD and pulled up the recording software so he could video Arthur's powers for research. He had clear excitement on his face and he stepped a tiny bit closer to get a good angle.
Arthur rolled his eyes when he saw Jay ready to record, flicking his left wrist the band suddenly became a vicious looking sabre. Summoning a violet mist he slowly let it spread. He didn't want anyone to get hurt in his chaos field.
Jay got more excited by his magic and tried to record as much of it as he could, Research only, not because he looks hot, while doing this amazing stuff.
Arthur let the mist roll out a god 10 metres around him, before stopping it with one hand, flicking his fingers vines started growing out of the ground, one of them picking him up as it grew. Most of them shimmered as if they were pure glitter, others had exquisite flowers, and some were even growing Crystals on them.
Torva whistled, impressed.
Jay was in complete awe, "Amazing…" He couldn't do magic but admired anyone who could, Arthur's was astounding.
Arthur wasn't quite done yet. The vines were still growing, weavjng themselves into a beautiful design, directed by Arthur's subtle gestures with his right hand.
Jays eyes were wide and astounded, Torva looked amused at Jays behavior but was also deeply entranced by the magic.
When Arthur finished he was perched on top of a plant based structure, more of a work of art than anything. "Does this work?" he called.
Torva nodded and gave a thumbs up, "Hell yeah!"
Arthur grinned, "Good," he said, sliding down. "Need anything else?"
"I think we're good!" Torva exclaimed, "Go do something before tomorrow, Go rest or something!"
Jay walked up to Arthur, "That was amazing!"
Arthur rolled his eyes, "See you later!" he called to Torva, "And Jay, that was just a taste.."
Torva left.
Jay smiled, "Really?!" He was surprised.
"Oh you haven't seen nothing" said Arthur, "Most of the people you see around here are nature elements. "I'm a mystic element. And my abilities number in one of the rarest of it's kind."
Jays eyes lit up, "That…that is amazing!" He calmed down a bit and sighed, "What do you want to do now?"
"Hmm," Arthur thought for a moment, "Anything you wanna do?" He asked.
"Not sure…it's really up to you, I've done everything I can in this town…" Jay sighed looking out to the streets of the boring town.
"Wanna go for a run in the woods?" he asked, relaxing as they walked.
"Sure. That sounds fun." Jay smiled walking along side Arthur.
Arthur nodded, letting instinct guide him towards the trees at the edge of town.
Jay followed him surprised that he knew where the woods were.
Arthur sighed in contentment when they stepped into the line of trees, shifting to wolf form a few feet in on pure instinct.
Jay looked at Arthur's form excitedly, "I wish i had powers…"
Arthur turned back to him, "Powers aren't always a good thing.." he said, his voice almost sad.
Jay frowned at the wolf, "Why…?" He asked quietly getting closer to him.
Arthur sighed, "Powers aren't always good. As much as they can do amazing things, not all of thise thinfs are good. Some people, or creatures, aren't content with showing off every once in awhile, or using their magic to help. Some use it to harm." He sighed, "And sometimes just having powers, whether you wanted them or not, can only bring pain."
