That would be a good idea, the making a new universe, but if you don’t pay then you’re only allowed to make a certain number of universes, and you might want those free ones later

I think there should be an archive feature where you can tuck away anything you aren’t really using anymore, but you don’t want to delete it because maybe you’ll use it later. I have about 23 characters from an old story I’m no longer working on, but I don’t want to delete them because I might be able to use them for something else. They’re also taking up a lot of space and cluttering my characters page.

That's a great idea, actually. I have a world where I am collaborating with my friend, except she left Notebook and now I have a bunch of characters I'm not likely to write about anymore…

hi @andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) I don't know if this has already been suggested but could there be a timeline page? I have had so much trouble finding a proper timeline site or app that isn't made for keeping track of office jobs. I have tried world anvils timeline but it won't let me put anything but set numbers into the date area and its so confusing. I was thinking that it could be a straight line going horizontal or vertical depending on what we choose and we could add event's too it and have dates and times that we can customise to suit our own world calendars. this is what I was thinking for what it could look like

month

day

hour/time of day

description:

event/tradition on this day

and after any of the categories have been filled in it will show up on the line, most likely in number order. this could have been suggested before and I know you have a lot to work on, on the site already but I think this could be a great addition and it would be very appreciated.

I've noticed that when using tags to filter characters or etc, you can only use 1 tag. I don't know if it glitch or not but being able to filter using multiple tags would be great

I recognize that someone may have said this before, but I’m here to say it because I’ve run into this problem quite a bit (lately).

Recently, I’ve been writing a piece, and have been supplying reference photos so people can “play what they read like a movie” or whatever. And the problem is getting the photos.
I know that you need a url or link or something to post the photo, and I have a hard time wanting to post a photo without uploading it to a character or universe, where I have a limited amount of storage specifically for photos. And like many others, I don’t necessarily want to pay to switch to unlimited bandwidth for photos in my characters, etc. (even though I’d get a lot more than just unlimited photo storage.)

So I’m just saying that maybe there should be a way to post photos without urls or links.

I think that a 'Writing Resources' discussion category would be great. Users can create a topic and share what they know, research that they've done, helpful websites, etc.

A note sections for documents

Dont know if anyone had suggested it but would be interesting if we have a option to organize our documents in pastes. For example im writing an arc, have a paste for that arc and inside i would create a document for each chapter of the arc. Also dont know if its possible of we have some more options in text format in documents, like font type, size and the possibility to put spoilers to hide some text in windows

dunno if it's been said, but maybe a dark or night mode? As someone who writes best when I should be sleeping that would be awesome

An undo button on the documents would be nice. Things save immediately, so if you highlight something to copy and paste but accidentally delete it instead, whatever you had is just lost.

An auto save feature would be very nice. Maybe when you leave the page, or you disconnect from the internet or something like that, the comment you didn’t send could be save to help the many people who RP and loose there response from mistake clicking. Sorry if it’s too much to ask.

That would be useful button, maybe some formatting buttons that add the sequences for italics/bold/etc. as well (my memory for these things sucks)?
But even without something like that, ctrl + z (or whatever the mac version is) works for me when I need to undo

I would like to suggest that possibly every month or two you could unlock a premium feature for the month, e.g. unlocking Languages and schools. It's just a suggestion but it would be really cool and would probably inspire others to buy Premium so they could permanently do this, so really it would probably end up with a profit.

Do the guys who made this app even see these?

I read and catalog them all (along with a few other sources, like the Request a Feature link in the sidebar) so I can make sure I'm always working on highly requested features that make the site better for everyone. :)

hi @andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) I was wondering if it could be possible to put customisable tabs on documents like the world building pages have? I have a few really long documents and it takes me a long time to find what I'm looking for or just get to the bottom. I've tried organising it myself but eventually it gets too messy with all the notes and everything. you don't have to of course, I love using the site and really enjoy seeing the new updates you work so hard to do for us. thank you!
