It became a chase, Shadow's pack quickly catching up to him. Shadow was running as fast as he could while keeping Arthur safe. His pack caught him quite quickly.

Arthur was still unconscious, having been avoiding sleep for days.

Shadow looked at them. "It's not what you think! I'm not helping him!"

Arthur stirred slightlt at the yelling, but stayed asleep.

"Really?" His sister, Night said. "Then why is he calm? And why is he alive?"

Arthur was still unconscious, thankfully, cause any other time he would've freaked.

"Answer me, Shadow!" Night growled.

Shadow stayed silent, not knowing what to say.

Arthur's fingers gripped the other's shirt as he ran.

Shadow decided to attack Night and the rest of his pack. It was an act of self-defense.

Arthur stirred again, but still didn't wake.

His pack eventually started to defeat him.

"Give it up, Shadow!" Night said.

Arthur was still unconscious in Shadow's arms.

Shadow continued fighting, even though he was very outnumbered.

Arthur was still unconscious. I guess that's what happens when you don't sleep for over a week.

Shadow was eventually caught.

"We're taking you back!" Night said. She tried getting Arthur off of Shadow to kill him, but Shadow made sure she wouldn't.

Arthur stirred again, but didn't wake.

Shadow continued to fight her off before fleeing, He hoped he'd get far enough.

Arthur groaned, his head hurt as he came to.

His pack caught up to him, though.

Arthur was still mostly unconscious though.

Shadow was still running.

Arthur groaned again, the movement made his head hurt.

Shadow ran at full speed.

Arthur finally came to, his green eyes wide with fear as he suddenly clutched at Shadow, hanging on for dear life.

Shadow noticed that he was awake.

"W-what's going on?!" asked Arthur, his voice highpitched, "W-where are you taking me?!"

"I don't know," Shadow said. "My pack is hunting me down."

Arthur tensed, clinging to the other, "B-But why???"

"Because I shouldn't help you, but I have to!" Shadow said. "I'm not ever letting anything happen to you!"

Arthur stared at him, his eyes still full of fear, but this time that fear was mixed with something else.
