“I thought we established that I’m far from perfect,” Amber murmured against him, pulling back to speak before kissing him again. Soft and sweet and loving… This was the perfect moment. She’d chosen the perfect moment to say that. “I love you so much.”
“The only thing we’ve established is how perfect you are,” William muttered back, pulling away to kiss her on her cheeks, on her nose, her forehead before claiming her mouth again. This was absolutely perfect. His girlfriend loved him back. William could never describe just how happy he was hearing that. “I love you, too. God, I love you.”
“I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of saying that or if hearing you say it,” Amber whispered, giggling at the kisses to her face. When their lips met again, she pressed closer, holding him to her as she pressed their lips together slightly harder.
“You’d better not,” William growled against her mouth as she kissed him harder. Finally, he pulled away and fell to his side, pulling her into his arms tightly. “Sleep. You need it.”
Amber sighed and curled up closer to him. “So do you. Goodnight, William Jones,” she whispered softly, kissing his cheek.
[TIME SKIP: THE WEEKEND]
"Well, are you ready, Blue?" William leaned against the wall, waiting for his girlfriend. They were going to meet his former teammates, and though he was looking forward to it, he wouldn't say it aloud. "For a whole weekend's worth of a headache?"
Amber laughed and pulled her hair back into a ponytail. “I’m ready, now. Just had to throw my hair up quick. Are we taking your car?” she wondered, grabbing her purse from beside the door and making her way over to William. She stood on her toes to press a quick kiss to his lips.
"We are," William nodded, resting his hands on his waist and pressing another kiss to her lips. "You could always make yourself comfortable on the back seat. You look beautiful."
“Oh, should I put your jacket on, then?” Amber teased with a smirk. “You donlike seeing me in it.”
William smirked back. "Please do," he hummed, pulling her closer to him. "You look sexy in it. You can't blame me."
Amber chuckled softly, biting her lip as she looked up at him. “Do I, now? Well, I’m glad you think so. It’s in my room, though, so you would have to let me go if you want me to wear it.”
"You're right," he murmured but didn't loosen his hold on her immediately. He ran slow circles on her waist, pulling her into another kiss and tugging her lip free from her teeth. He bit down on it gently before running his tongue over it, finally pulling away and letting her go. "You're free to go now."
Amber flushed at the action, surprised by it. She blinked a couple of times before nodding and humming a quiet acknowledgment. A few steps back, and she was in her room. When she emerged, William’s jacket hung from her shoulders, and she was calm again. She grinned up at him, making her way over, and tapped him on the chest playfully. “Let’s go, love.”
William was smirking when he noticed her surprise. It was adorable how she still acted flustered. I mean, she should know how he is, right?
Then she came back from her room, composed and calm. It made William want to tease her again.
“As I thought,” he smirked as he took her hand in his. “You look hot wearing my stuff.”
Amber chuckled, winking up at him. “Don’t I always look hot? Just especially so in this, hm?”
“When you wear my things, it makes you look more mine,” William tugged her close and wrapped his arms around her waist. “And that makes it hot. Incredibly so.”
“I’ll always be yours. And you’ll always be mine,” Amber promised, wrapping her arms around his neck as she smiled up st him softly. “Now, as much as I’d love to stand here and make out with you, we have places to be, people to meet.”
“Always,” William promised back, rubbing soft circles on her waist. “You know, I’d prefer just standing here and making out with you than meet people.”
Amber chuckled and pressed herself up to meet his lips softly. “Well, I mean, so would I. But we promised the guys we would go see them. And I intend to keep that promise.”
“You are such a nice woman,” William sighed. “C’mon, then. Let’s go.”
Amber laughed and pecked his lips again before pulling away. “Still want me to stretch out on the back seat?”
William bumped his nose with here.
“Do that,” he murmured. “I’d like to admire my girlfriend.”
“Then admire her you shall,” Amber hummed, winking before slipping from his arms and walking to the door. “Now, c’mon. The sooner we’re done with them, the sooner you can kiss me… Unless you decide to kiss me in front of them just to make it awkward.”
William looked at her as she slipped out of his arms, cocking an eyebrow at her in amusement. “You know me, love,” he said after her. “Of course I’ll kiss you. Unless, of course, you don’t want me to.”
“Depends on the situation. But you know I probably won’t mind,” Amber reminded him, beckoning for him to come out so they could leave.
William followed after her, locking the door behind him. He took out his keys and unlocked the car using the remote. “I’ll make sure it’s a good situation, then.”
Amber chuckled, shaking her head in amusement. “I’m sure it would be no matter what.”
William opened the door to the back seat, offering Amber a grin. “Well then, have a seat, love.”
He was digging a grave for himself.
Amber winked before she slid into the back seat. “Gladly, hun,” she chuckled, buckling in on the passengers side so she could stretch out in his vision better.
William’s eyes trailed her as he slid into his own seat, buckling his seatbelt. “Make sure you don’t get hurt, Blue,” he told her. “But if you do, I’ll kiss you better.”
