"Nice to meet you G, I'm Quince." He smiled and extended his hand towards her.

G instantly felt the weight fall off her shoulders as he didn’t mention anything about the oddity of her name. She smiled widely, and took his hand, shaking it. “It’s really nice to meet you too, Quince.” She paused and pulled back, before adding, “That’s a nice name, by the way.”

"Thanks, it's nice to meet you as well. Is your real name Oujia? I've never heard that as a name before but it's nice." Quince said with a smile, he wasn't one to judge.

She quietly laughed under her breath before replying, “Yeah, it’s my real name, and thank you. My dad was.. Well, he was, interesting for sure, and decided to name me that. I’m not completely certain why he did, but I bet he has his reasons- my twin’s name isn’t normal either, so I guess it’s a family thing- sorry, I’ve been rambling..” She cut herself off, suddenly noticing how much she was talking to Quince about herself.

Quince chuckled, "Its fine." He smiled, "So what brings you to the beach?"

G smiled back. “Well, I guess I was just looking for peace, a place where I could clear my head, and I managed to find my way out here, as I do.” She figured that was a good enough explanation without saying too much. Turning out to face the ocean, the breeze blowing on her face, she asked, “What about you?”

"I like it out here. It's cool and relaxing and strengthens my powers." Quince frowned realizing what he said.

She turned to face him, squinting a little bit as she looked up into his face. “Powers..?” Her voice faltered a little and was quiet, as if she was trying to process what he said for herself.

Quince turned away embarrassed, "I, um, I have water powers…" He mumbled. Great, I shouldn't have said that…

((Ohhhh my goodness I’m so so so sorry for the late reply!!! I’ve been pretty busy and tired the last couple of days and just now got around to reply- I’m so so so sorry!!))

G wholesomely smiled, and said, “That’s awesome! You shouldn’t be ashamed, that’s too cool..” She bit down on her lip, debating saying something about her own powers.
