“I— I guess.” Her voice cracked a bit. “Thank you.”

"Captain, you weigh so much more than you did yesterday." Kameo smirked.

"I know, I've been eating quite a lot." Leah laughed. In reality, she had barely eaten since last night, her worry that Kameo and Daso weren't okay keeping her up.

"And here I thought you'd be offended." he laughed and they reached the (eating place?) where Kameo sat Captain down next to Daso and sat across from them.

"Alright, come on. The grilled cheese won't eat itself. Has anyone seen Morrigan and Lucian?"

“You’re welcome,” Lucian responded, gently holding Morrigan’s hands in his. He wish he could say he felt as confident as he might sound. Sure, he seemed composed, but inside he felt just as timid as she sounded. He couldn’t quite comprehend how fast everything had happened.

"Probably making out in the infirmary." She smirked, sitting down next to Daso.

"They're probably off whispering sweet nothings to each other," Daso teased. "They belong together."

"I second those statements." Kameo grinned and grabbed a grilled cheese, tearing through it.

Joanna nodded. "They're good for each other. Both balance each other out."

" 'Sweet nothings?' " She asked, raising a brow at Daso. "What in the world does that mean?"

"It's an old phrase," he explained, dreamily, "a romantic one. Sweet nothings. Romantic phrases, compliments."

"Like you and Captain." Kameo smirked and grabbed another grilled cheese.

"I would have no clue what that would entail. I've never had a boyfriend."

Leah blushed and grabbed a sandwich, taking a bite so she didn't have to answer.

Daso laughed. "True enough."

Kameo nodded, satisfied with his abilities to push people together. "Now kiss." he whispered under his breath.

Leah raised a brow as Kameo muttered under his breath. "Do you normally talk to yourself, Kam?" She asked, smirking.

"Normally." he smiled and finished his cheese grilled.

"Mad scientist," Daso said in a sing-song voice.

"Cooking up the next big revelation in crazy science." Joanna said, sipping her drink.

"More like chemist/alchemist." Kameo sniffed, "Learn your terms, Daso."

He grinned at Joanna, "Already have done that. Just call me if you need a poison, acid, antidote, or bomb."

Leah laughed, finishing her sandwich. "I was talking to a few crew members and they told me that there was a plague running through Divo and Serro."

"Okay, cooking up the next big revelation in alchemy." She laughed. "Does anyone else want lemonade?"

Joanna set her cup down with a bang. "Divo? Are you sure?"
