She tilted her head and chuckled "if only I could, I could join in with your laughter." She glanced over at the plant where the voice came from. "You sound vaguely familiar. Have we met before?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

His dragon, Kerrian, sighed, "Not formally, we have not," He said, "My name is Kerrian, it is a pleasure to finally meet you, your majesty."

@Fenrir

She stood and bowed awkwardly to the plant "a pleasure to meet you as well, though one thing. Please no formalities, I get enough of that from my people." She made her way slowly to the plant "I assume I'm not talking to a plant, Correct? Perhaps someone behind the plant."

@ElderGod-Carrots

"That is true, though I wish to remain hidden, for now," Kerrian took a few more steps so he was encased in plant life. He didn't want Val to see him talking through Drake's mouth, if they were to speak face to face he wanted to shift fully, "Technically I am not speaking through my own mouth."

@Fenrir

She backed away a few feet "of course. You're a shifter? Like me and my..my husband?" She asked, voice growing heavy with pain as she said the last words

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kerrian noticed, but he did not make a comment on it, that might give away who he was “Something along those lines, yes. Though it’s slightly more complicated and I do not wish to explain.”

@Fenrir

She nodded though still curious "of course." She cleared her throat "thank you, for before, that was beautiful."

@Fenrir

"to have me think myself crazy? Truly a once in a lifetime chance." She smiled softly as she played with the rims of the flowers.

@Fenrir

She tilted her head to the side "If you want me to see it." She peered through the plant, trying to make out the figure "You're sure we have never met?" she asked once more. "I'm sorry if I seem persistent about this but I feel like I know you."

@Fenrir

She nodded "I see, though very few things are so simple in life." She yawned a bit and stood "I guess I'll see you soon, my new friend." She bowed again to the plant and made sure to avert her gaze as she left the green house in case he was in sights

@ElderGod-Carrots

Kerrian watched and made sure Val was out of sight before he let Drake take over again. The change made him stumble but soon enough, drake was back in control of his body and walking out the green house.

@Fenrir

Val made her way back to her room and sighed "what is seriously wrong with you? Letting a stranger into the castle grounds?! No less armed or ready to fight! But he was no stranger." A voice said in her head

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake didn't go back to his room. For some reason he as giddy, and so was Kerrian though the dragon was excited for tomorrow night. They shifted, Drake letting Kerrian take full control and they flew, not caring if anyone saw their shadow or silhouette.

@Fenrir

Val woke the next day. She got dressed in a simple dress, checking her wound to find that it had healed fully. She checked in on Drakes room to see if she could find him wanting to tell him about her encounter in the greenhouse but found his chambers empty. She decided to head to the throne room to find king Charles again " your Magesty, I mu-"
She cut him off "I must do nothing of what you say in my kingdom." She sat down with a nod to Clarise

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake walked into the throne room not long after that, looking happier then normal. His eyes were glowing almost a neon blue which clearly wasn’t normal and he was grinning, “Good morning your majesty’s.” He bowed to both Charles and Val.

@Fenrir

She smiled and nodded back "we need to talk later," she said to Drake before focusing back to Charles
"Ah King Drake, please put some sense into your Queen's head." He begged

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake chuckled, and sent Charles a wink, “Now that is nearly impossible. Trust me, I’ve tried but she won’t listen,” He shrugged, slipping his hands into his pockets and rocking on his heels, “What exactly is the problem? I’ll listen, King to King.”

@Fenrir

"we need to wage war across the borders. We heard of the creature who infiltrated the castle a few nights ago and have reason to believe it came from that kingdom. The war you and your Queen have presumably stopped years ago is coming back to rise. We need to fight back. Problem is Nalra is between us and the kingdom." He explained. Val clenched her fists in controlled anger "I will not wage war on another kingdom that has done nothing to harm others. I will not attack another kingdom that is innocent of one man's faults. And I will certainly not wage war on your order." She said calmly

@ElderGod-Carrots

“The creature that attacked is called a Night Stalker,” Drame said, crossing his arms, “It is an ancient creature that has risen as it’s master has. That master is currently taking over my kingdom with its evil. There is no reason to wage war on a kingdom that has done nothing wrong.”

@Fenrir

Charles narrowed his eyes "so it is safe to assume you have close ties to this man that is now ruling your kingdom?" He said, accusation in his tone

@ElderGod-Carrots

"I want nothing to do with that man. He caused enough trouble for me in the past and I do not wish to get involved with him again. Though as it is my kingdom he is taking over, again, I agree wth something needs to be done." Drake glared.

@Fenrir

His eyes narrowed "then you and your queen are in the same boat of danger."
Val stood silently "I suggest you leave." She said quietly

@ElderGod-Carrots

Drake turned away, "I agree with her majesty." He replied, fists clenching and un-clenching. He was in a good mood and now that was gone. Even Kerrian was annoyed at Charles.

@Fenrir

Charles smirked, knowing he had gotten to the both of them. "I suggest you reconsider my offer."
Val flinched, hearing the familiar words once more "I'm done reconsidering offers. My decision is final and unmoving. I will not attack unless provoked. Nor will attacking be my first option." Her eyes flashed wolfish, begging for Charles to say something more if only to give her a reason to lunge at him
He nodded "of course. I'll take my leave now." he bowed mockingly to the two and left the room

@ElderGod-Carrots

A low, rumbling growl echoed through the room before Drake had a chance to control Kerrian. He sat down against a pillar, closed his eyes and rested his head against it.

@Fenrir

She sat down once Charles left "Fantastic…" she growled under her breath "You ok?" she asked Drake, glancing over at him
