Meg softly sang to herself, under her breath so no one else could hear, “All through the night, Guardian angels God will send thee, All through the night, Soft the drowsy hours are creeping, Hill and dale in slumber sleeping, I my loved ones' watch am keeping, All through the night.” She thought of the nights that Steve and Bucky would sing her to sleep, making sure that she was safe. Now that her guardian angels were gone, Margaret felt exposed and raw, and she was helpless to get them back.

"Um, how would you feel if I said the head of a dead space giant?"

"Yeah, okay. The head of a dead space giant." she said, starting up the ship. "The first time flying can make you nauseated."

“Lila, you okay? You kinda melted there.” Meg said, concerned. She wanted to melt, too, but she remembered what Bucky had told her that morning, the last time she’s seen him: Stay strong.

@ShadeStar

"Yeah," Lila smiled, "When I was a kid he used his magic a lot around me. I kind of got numb to it and it became our thing. One week I would send him to the void to fall for and hour . The next week he would lock me in a room of mirrors. We both had a laugh out of it."

“That sounds like you had good quality bonding time… even if it was, a little, well, strange,” Meg said, smiling slightly as she remembered what Bucky’s idea of ‘bonding time’ was. “My dad and I would go to a shooting range and fire bullseyes as much as possible. He always made it. I’d always miss once.”

"Well, here goes!" The ship took off like a rocket, blowing back everyone except Rogue.

(Sorry I had to do something. The point is, Bella nodded at Lila when she said "We should see if our parents are okay, I can make a portal if you want." and she went to see if Wonder Woman was still chillin at home.)

"Hold on to something! Once we leave orbit, gravity will even out."
