"A drinking problem? You?" Daso inspected her. She did seem a bit…loose? He wasn't sure how to explain it. He kind of liked it. "You always seem so strong."

"I took a couple sips of whiskey. . ." Leah started, leaning against the edge of the boat, a breeze blowing her hair out of her face. "Now Joanna's cleaned my whole room out."

"That's no fun. And you won't be able to restock in Sole." Daso gazed down at the shimmering ocean waves. "Temperance. Except for the rich."

The chemical compound for the bombs was done. Excited, Kameo poured the mix into a shell he'd designed a week before and placed it into the fridge to set.

"You better not restock!" Joanna's voice from the kitchen right below them.

He turned the stove off and flicked the lights on before pushing a table into the center of the room.

"Are you any good at poker?" She asked, looking over at Daso with a mischievous glint in her green eyes. "I'm afraid I can never beat Kameo, and I would love to get my hands on that whiskey he's promised as a prize."

"I'm not bad at it, if I say so myself," he preened, smiling. "Although it seems risky to play against Kameo. That guy's a champion."

"We can beat him." Leah grinned, nudging Daso playfully. "If not, I'll just go find some whiskey in another sector."

Morrigan swallowed. “Thanks, Lucian. I—-“ she cut herself off. “Never mind.”

"Together, we're unstoppable!" he said, grinning. "Well, after you."

Lucian arched a brow in question. “No? You’re sure?” He asked, foot tapping on the floor quickly.

"The Unstoppable Pair of The Andromeda!" She laughed. "I like it."

Morrigan’s cheeks flushed faintly pink. “I—— convince me and I’ll say.”, she blurted out.

"So do I." Daso laughed.

"Do you still have family in Sole?" Leah asked, looking over at him.

His smile froze on his face, becoming a mask instantly. "Yeah, they're still there, I think."

Lucian seemed slightly confused, but he nodded anyways. “Alright, um.. If you tell me, I’ll take a whole hour and a half from a day of your choosing, and we can do anything. Whatever you want, the whole time,” he suggested. He wasn’t really sure what she wanted from him. All he could think about was spending more time with her.

She nodded slowly, looking up at him. "Do you want to go and see them?"

Morrigan struggled to keep a goofy smile from spreading across her face, succeeding only partially. Pull yourself together!, she told herself sternly, but of course did nothing to obey the command. “I— I’m down with that.” She brought a hand to her cheek, which was definitely pink.
