"True, but feeding the queens is always important. I would hate for you to go hungry."
"True, but feeding the queens is always important. I would hate for you to go hungry."
"I'm fine, I'll be fine. You worry about yourself, and the needs of the whole clan. Not silly old me."
"Okay, if you're sure. But I'll be bringing you plenty of borage once I have the authority to."
"Ha ha, I'll be fine, my dear kit."
"I'll make sure of it." Finchkit grinned cheerfully.
(I’m back! We had no internet yesterday)
(Hello friend!)
(Hello @TheGoldenLegend, feel free to hop in. Oakfur and Finchkit are having a conversation.)
(Yeah but @Robin_Jones is offline.)
Sitting at the foot of her den, Silverbrook watched as the events of the days unfolded. Shifting her paws ever so slightly, she stood up and padded over to the fresh-kill pile
Oakfur yawned slightly. She sat down, licking her paws.
Pulling out a vole, Silverbrook took her place back next to her den.
"Hello Silverbrook!"
“Greetings, Oakfur, how are you today?”
"The kits are kicking around. I'm going to give birth soon."
“The sooner the better,” Silverbrook purred, “ kits will always be a blessing.”
"Yes. I can't wait."
Silverbrook walked up to her and nosed her belly, “They are ready,” she remarked, “hopefully they come today.”
"Wait, say what?" Oakfur meowed in surprise. She thought it would have been a few days.
Silverbrook nodded, “Yes, today!”
"Okay, that's…. unsettling. I was going hunting today."
“Oakfur, even if you were going to start kitting in a few days, you should not be hunting.”
"Um…. I've been out hunting over the last few weeks."
Silverbrook shook her head, “ Where is your mate?”
(I'll pull up an RP for him later.) "Out hunting."
“Usually a mate would be forcing there mate into the nursery right after they find out their caring kits, has your mate told you to stay in the nursery?”
"Um… yes. I didn't listen."
“See! So you should stay in the nursery.”
"Okay…."
Leading her away, Silverbrook added, “look here, if your out there, hunting, patrolling, and start to kitter, you don’t know what will happen! Maybe one of the kits will die.”
