I actually read an article that things like Godzilla and Zombies are actually possible outcomes if humanity continues down the path that it is going with nuclear radiation and such. That shit is wild.

Like, people (cough men cough) are fine with people in Star Wars fighting with laser swords, moving objects around without touching them, Palpatine's ridiculous chessmaster scheming, and trained soldiers being taken out by teddy bears, but the moment there's a Black, Latinx, or Asian protagonist, it's 'unrealistic'. And yet they wouldn't have an issue with a protagonist that's literally a blue or green alien, that's realistic enough for them.
