Arthur gave her a long look. "Not to be rude or anything, but I'm honestly wondering how long you can keep that up." He said.

"My chaos might just drive you crazy" said Arthur randomly turning the cieling blue.

"As long as I can let off steam every now and then, I should last the mission," Septima said.
She looked up at the ceiling and smiled a bit.
"I'll be okay."

Arthur nodded. "I hope so" he said, getting to his feet. "Now if you don't mind, It's late, there's a comfortable bed, and I'm tired."

@Becfromthedead group

"Don't mind at all. I was thinking the same thing. Sleep well," Septima answered, heading towards her room.
She waved.
"Goodnight."
Then she walked through the door, closed it behind her, and changed into her pajamas before lying in bed.

Arthur flopped onto the bed as soon as he could, but he immediately rolled over and began drawing designs with his magic, determined to rest, but also stay awake.

Septima went ahead and drifted off; she knew she would need her energy for the days ahead. She just wanted to fast-forward through it so she could save those people.

Arthur law awake for hours, forcing himself to stay that way, occasionally practicing his levitation and gravity manipulation to stay awake.

Septima awoke suddenly in the middle of the night, gripped by fear. She sat up in bed, trying to remember where she was. Remembering may have been worse. This place could be dangerous.

Arthur had wandered out into the main hall, trying not to sleep. Hearing a rustle in Septima's room he became suspicious for a moment, before moving on to his levitation and gravity change techniques.

Septima got up and paced around her room a bit. She lit up just the tip of her finger to get a soft glow to illuminate the area enough so she could see where she walked.

Arthur heard her pacing, and finally knocked on her door, "Are you Okay Septima?" He asked tiredly.

@Becfromthedead group

She stopped for a few moments to decide whether to respond. He must have heard her, otherwise he wouldn't have bothered, right?
Septima put her light out and opened the door.
"What are you doing up?"

Deleted user

"Trying not to sleep." Said Arthur flatly. "Unlike any normal person. What about you? Are you okay?"

Deleted user

"Nope" said Arthur. "Don't need sleep. Don't want sleep. I refuse to sleep." He said firmly, "Besides. Sleep won't do me much good anyway."

@Becfromthedead group

"O…kay?" Septima murmured, "As long as it doesn't hurt you, I don't really care, then."
She leaned back against the door frame.
"I don't really like where this mission is going. What all are we waiting around for? I was told almost nothing before being sent off, and I don't really appreciate it."

Deleted user

"It's probably not good for me. And there is a chance I'll pass out eventually." Said Arthur, "But hey, It's better in the short run." He sighed, "And as for the mission, part of the waiting is so that we don't seem suspicious, and also so that the rebel forces can converge."

@Becfromthedead group

Septima sighed. "They sent us out quite early, then. And also… short run? How short are we talking about? You should try to at least think ahead a little bit."

Deleted user

"We're talking me being able to move and act normal come morning." Said Arthur, "And then you nit having to deal with a crazed, terrified, and immobile person."

@Becfromthedead group

"Why on earth did they send you, knowing how many complications there could be? 'Chance you'll pass out eventually'? This just sounds like a disaster waiting to happen."
Septima crossed her arms.
"I should've said no… There are plenty of people who would've been more prepared for all of this than me…"

Deleted user

"Yeah, they don't exactly know about my past. And when push comes to shove I promise I'm one of the best people to have on your side." He said reassuringly. "Besides, It's not my fault I keep getting night terrors…"

@Becfromthedead group

"I don't doubt you as an individual with a personality but… bad things could happen, you know, and I don't think any of us want that," Septima replied.
She hesitated for a second.
"Are the night terrors normal night terrors, or of magical origin? I-I… Well, I've heard my type of magic can help alleviate nonmagical night terrors. With a bit of research, I might be able to help a little."

Deleted user

Arthur sighed, "Not of magical origin, bht rather the traumatic one." He said softly, yawning. "As much as I'd prefer to move on, there's a small part of me that can't."

Deleted user

"I doubt it…" said Arthur, "The nightmares are actually recurring memories… and it can happen when I'm awake too… though I can ignore it and act normal if I have to…"

@Becfromthedead group

"Key word is some," Septima added, "I can't claim that magic is a cure-all, or even close, but it might be worth trying, even if only to take the edge off. Just let me know."

Deleted user

"I'm just warning you, cause honestly I'll try anything…."

@Becfromthedead group

"Yeah, I understand. And I understand I might be even less help because I've always been more proficient in combat and a little illusion- never healing and mind stuff," Septima said, "but I'm willing to find out how."
