"Maybe. I'd have to make some calls." Aika said, shaking her head as she looked at Ava.
"Maybe. I'd have to make some calls." Aika said, shaking her head as she looked at Ava.
Ava was confused but didn't say anything. If Akia wasn't telling her something then it was important. She talked to much so when she shut up, you knew it was serious. This is the same person who told Ava her real name after only an hour or so together.
Aika's mouth twisted up into a small frown as she pulled out a phone, fingers flying impossibly quick over the screen.
"Okay, what the hell?" Blair looked between them, confused and a bit pissed at Aika's vagueness.
Ava raised an eyebrow at what was going on. She knew better than to ask though. She'll probably explain it in a minute anyways.
"Yup." Aika said finally, nodding. "Knew I'd heard of that m.o before. I've fought him." She looked up, shrugging.
Blair's eyes widened, and she leaned forward. "What? And you're still here? I barely got away, and that was only thanks to the powerline above us."
"What do you know a-about him?" Ava asked, curious. The way Blair described him it made it sound like it was impossible to win a fight against him. Then again, Blair was dramatic.
"He's a tall skinny white dude." Aika said, huffing a laugh at some sort of joke. "And he's pretty powerful. Not god-mode, like Blair keeps making him out to be, but he's pretty hard to beat. I got lucky. Which is funny, because I pissed him off in the first place."
Ava smiled. "Th-That's good. How'd you beat him?" Ava asked.
(Could I control Blair for a bit?)
((All yours))
"A distraction, and plenty of dirty tricks." Aika said, running a hand through her hair.
Blair's eyes went wide. "How do you know my name?" She hissed, leaning in close to Siren.
Aika quirked an eyebrow, meeting Blair's eyes. "I'll give you two guesses. Let's see if you can get it."
Blair's eyes flickered to Ava. "You didn't tell her did you?" She whispered to Ava, a angry yet worried expression creeping across her face.
Aika made a buzzer sound. "Nope. Try again, Sparky." Her grin was more mischievous than it's usual wicked look.
Ava shrunk back into her seat.
Blair racked her brain. How could she know? "I…don't know." She scowled.
Aika flickered a soothing look at Ava, the amusement showing in her eyes. "You've always been pretty dense, Denki, but this is a new level for you."
Ava relaxed slightly. God. How does she do that? Ava asked herself. She give me one look and I instantly relax.
(Is Denki a nickname or last name?)
((She just calls Blair anything slightly related to electricity, and Denki is based off Denk Kaminari, from BNHA. He can create electricity with his body. Could work for a last name though.))
(Oh! Alright. I'll just have it be a reference.)
Blair groaned. "Look. I just came here to get some help but instead I'm just getting annoyed. If you give me Ava you can go back to your lair and plot out your next scheme or what not." Blair offered.
Aika raised an eyebrow gracefully, leaning back. "Hm…I don't know. I quite like her, Blair. She's cute, and knows how to cook."
Ava blushed and drew back in. "Y-You're going t-to have to let me go e-eventually." Ava said as she drew her knees up to her chest.
"Eventually, maybe." I like having you around. Aika shot her a smirk, but there was an almost fond look in her eyes. "You'd be safer with me, though."
Ava looked at her and then at Blair before nodding slightly.
Blair let out an exasperated sigh. Ava gets attached way too easy.
Aika smiled smugly, sipping her coffee. "Is there anything else we should be going over. To take down this Fear asshole?"
Blair sighed. "Something that will help me not be effected by him." She said. God I really don't want to be near her.
(You can pick up Blair when ever you feel like it.)
((Oof doubling is weird for me. I'll try tho soon))
"Accept your fear." Aika said simply. "He can only amplify something that's there, something negative. Accept that you're afraid, and understand that you're alright."
Blair groaned. "That's not going to happen anytime soon." She said shaking her head.
"Then you're going to find yourself in a lot of trouble, next time you run into him." Aika shrugged, crossing her arms over her chest. "Tell me, Sparky. What are you afraid of?"
Blair looked down at the table as if ashamed and refused to look at Akia.
Ava bit her lip, feeling kinda bad that Akia put Blair on the spot. She knew Blair was afraid of failure. She was always afraid that she would let down the city. Blair was probably already hating herself for not being able to get Ava back and now a villain pops up that's going to make her need to face that fear?
Aika watched Blair for a few moments of silence, an unreadable look on her face. "If you want practice, call me." She said suddenly, sliding a business card over the table. "I've got plenty of experience with fear."
Blair picked up the card and inspected it. "You have a business card?" She asked, surprised.
