“Oh, I’m sure he’s pleased, all right. He certainly sounds pleased with himself,” Amber chuckled, turning the stove down as the sauce finished cooking.
“Oh, I’m sure he’s pleased, all right. He certainly sounds pleased with himself,” Amber chuckled, turning the stove down as the sauce finished cooking.
“But are you?” William fought the chuckle that threatened to erupt. “Pleased with your amazing boyfriend?”
Amber shot him a quick grin before turning he stove off completely. She turned around and walked up to him, wrapping her arms around his neck. “Hm… What does my boyfriend think? Am I pleased with him?”
William bent down, lips barely inches away from hers, hands resting on her waist. “Your boyfriend thinks you are,” he said quietly. “Why wouldn’t you be?”
“Precisely, hun,” Amber murmured, gently pressing their lips together for just a moment. She pulled away with a small smile and bumped their noses together. “Let’s eag, shall we?”
“Yeah, let’s,” William kissed her forehead. “I’ve got dessert to look forward to, too, so let’s do it quickly.”
Amber snorted, shaking her head as she turned to grab plates. She fished up food for the both of them, then handed one to William. “Do you want anything to drink?” she asked, making her way to the table.
“Do we have grape juice?” William questioned as he walked over to set his plate on the table. He turned back to grab the glasses from a cupboard.
“There should be some in the fridge. If not, we’ll bave to get some on our next shopping trip,” Amber said, smiling over at him as she sat down.
“What do you want to drink?” William questioned, opening the fridge. “Oh, we have grape juice. Awesome. We also have mango juice, if you want that one.”
“Mango jouice sounds good,” Amber answered. “Thanks, babe.”
William poured juice for both of them before he carried the glasses to the table. He carried the plate of garlic bread to the table before he sat down and picked up his fork.
“I’ll be busy tomorrow,” William suddenly remembered, eyes flickering towards his girlfriend. “So you might not see me until evening.”
“Oh, okay. What’re you doing?” Amber wondered, looking over at him curiously.
“There’s something I have to do,” he said to her, taking a bite out of the bread before chewing. He swallowed the bite. “I’ll fill you in later.”
Amber nodded, giving him a quick smile. “Okay. I’ll probably be here or with some friends,” she said before starting in on her own food.
“I’ll steal you away when I’m done,” William simply smiled. “Once I’m free, you’ll be mine.”
“Well, I’m always yours. It’s just a matter of when you can have me to yourself,” Amber chuckled after swallowing her bite.
“Tomorrow evening, I’ll have you to myself,” Willam corrected himself, trying not to dwell on the dangerous words she spoke. I’m always yours.
(“William corrected myself…” XD)
“Sounds like a perfect evening, then,” Amber hummed. “Much like tonight will be.”
(Where is that from? :o ;)
“It’ll be better than tonight, trust me,” William smiled at her. “I’ll make sure of it.”
(Lol. Very nice~)
Amber tilted her head curiously, her gaze flickering over his face. "How so?" she wondered.
“I won’t be seeing you nearly the whole day,” William said the obvious fact. “Of course I’ll make sure to have our evening together wonderful. I’ll be missing you a lot.”
"And the guys think you can't be cute or sweet," Amber chuckled, shaking her head a bit before taking another bite of food. "I'm looking forward to it."
“As if I’d be nice to any of them,” William rolled his eyes, taking a forkful of spaghetti. “Don’t get too used to it, Blue. I’ll be mean to you as I am ‘sweet’.”
Amber scrunched her nose up playfully. "Yeah, well, you have been. Just not lately."
“Are you complaining?” William quirked an eyebrow. “All right, then. I’ll stop being nice.”
"No, I'm not complaining!" Amber laughed, shaking her head. "I meant the you used to be mean to me, but you haven't lately. Which I'm happy about."
“Eat quickly,” William rolled his eyes, though he was smiling. “I want to have my dessert.”
"Hm, in that case, I think I should eat slower," Amber teased, though she didn't do so.
“Would you, though?” William quirked an eyebrow after swallowing another forkful in his mouth. “Eat slower?”
