Gwen kissed his cheek once more.

Alex smiled, his green eyes seeming to glow in the moonlight.

Gwen started to stabd up and head for the barn.

Alex watched her, "I'm staying out here ok?"

Gwen nodded "goodnight".

"Night!" said Alex, shifting as he watched the sky.

Gwen sighed as she layed down in hay

Blaze watched her, "You ok?" she asked softly.

Gwen nodded. "i'm fine just tired " she lied.

Blaze lay next to her, "You sure?" she asked, "You sound a little more than just tired…"

"Yeah Don't worry about it" she said and closed her eyes.

Blaze reluctantly let it go, settling in for the night.

Gwen closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Alex was asleep outside when morning came, sleeping peacefully in wolf form.
Blaze slept too, tired from the confrontation of last night.

Gwen woke up and went outside stretching tiredly.

Alex didn't stirr, the wind tugging at his messy golden fur.

Gwen kissed his cheek before going on with her morning.

Alex stirred slightly, opening one eye to grin at her before adjusting his position and going back to sleep.

Gwen smiled slightly and went to the animals.

Blaze was up a few minutes later, her long hair left loose until she could remove the bed head.

Gwen began to ffeed the cows.

Walking out of the barn she sighed when she saw Alex. "Sleepy mutt." she said, heading over to Gwen.

"he was akawe a moment ago" she said.

"He's fast asleep now." said Blaze.

"I know".

"Does your brother ever do that?"

"once my brothers awake he doesnt fall back asleep"Gwen said.

"I wish Alex were like that sometimes…"
