Amber snorted and pulled away to raise her eyebrows at him. “I see we’re both very modest.”
Amber snorted and pulled away to raise her eyebrows at him. “I see we’re both very modest.”
William shot her another smirk, running his fingers through her soft hair. “Extremely so, sweetheart.”
Amber smirked back and kissed the side of his head. “Now… I believe we had a movie planned?”
William nuzzled her neck, making himself comfortable against her. “Cannot wait to make fun of skinny Steve Rodgers.”
“Shh, he couldn’t help it!” Amber laughed, shifting in his lap to her more comfortable.
“Of course not, love,” William kissed the back of her neck. “Now start the movie.”
Amber turned to peck his lips quickly. When she turned back around, she leaned back into his chest and clicked ‘play’ on the movie.

“So, how are things going with Amber?” Jude poked William in the side, causing the taller to glower. “We were so surprised when you kissed her instead of the manager.”
“Not as big of a surprise when he told the manager he was giving up on her,” Jace piped up. He’d gotten better and had heeded to William’s words. He was working hard, never missing practice. He was improving and his behavior with William had gotten a lot better. He hadn’t shown jealousy over the fact that he was Amber’s boyfriend. He had no right to be. William fixed his glare on Jace.
“Blue’s coming to practice,” he said flatly. “Behave. You give her trouble and I will make sure you suffer.”
The guys merely laughed. William heaved a tired sigh.
Amber got to the basketball court a few minutes later. She glanced around for William, her hands shoved in the pockets of his jacket — which she may or may not have decided to keep when they started dating. Upon seeing him, even though his back was to her, she smiled. She made her way over and covered his eyes with her hands, standing on her tiptoes to do so.
“Guess who~” she singsonged.
William stiffened when he felt hands covering his eyes, but he soon relaxed, smiling faintly. He could recognize those hands anywhere.
“I wonder…” he hummed. “Is it my annoying girlfriend, I assume?”
Amber pressed a quick kiss to the back of his neck before letting go and pulling away. She moved to his side to smile up at him, chuckling a little. “Oh, how did you know?” she laughed.
William turned to look at her, resting his hands on her waist, pulling her close and bending so that their foreheads were early touching.
“Well, your voice gives it away,” he hummed, kissing the tip of her nose. “If you hadn’t spoken, I can’t name even one woman willing to touch me like this without fear.”
Amber reached up to press their lips together for a moment. “Well, I’m glad. I want to be the only girl for you,” she declared with a grin.
William looked down at her with a deep intensity before he kissed her again briefly. “You will be the only one,” he promised her with a fond smile on his features. “So don’t worry, Blue.”
Amber chuckled softly and wrapped her arms around him in a quick, tight hug before letting him go. “All right. You should go practice. I’m sure the guys are waiting for you, hun.”
“I’m pretty sure they’re more content with making faces behind my back,” he said loudly, turning back to see Jude immediately straighten and pretend he was conversing with Jace. “Anyway, stand some place high. I don’t want a ball hitting you, okay?” He kissed her on the forehead before stepping back.
“Sure, Will,” Amber chuckled, giving him another smile before she started to walk away. “Have fun!”
“Hey, Blue?” William called before she walked away, a smirk adorning his features. When she turned around, he folded his arms. “You look hot in my jacket.” With a wink, he turned his back to her, walking to the field where his teammates were present.
“All right, let’s get to practice,” he said, face hardening. They divided into teams and began playing. William always looked back to look at Amber, and every time he did, he would gain more strength. It gave him a thrill knowing her eyes were always on him.
Amber rolled her eyes, ignoring the blush that his comment gave her. She continued on her way up the bleachers, sitting near the middle so that she was high enough that she wasn’t likely to get hit but low enough that she could see well.
“All right, that’s enough,” Jordan called out, clapping his hands, breathing heavily. “Great job, guys.”
William pulled his shirt from the front, wiping off his sweat before he looked up at Amber. Accepting the towel from his manager, he walked over to the bleachers, stopping when he was in front of Amber. He held it out to her and bent down expectantly.
“You want me to dry your hair?” Amber laughed, taking the towel from him. “There’s this magic word, you know. Please.”
William bore his eyes into hers, breathing heavily. “I didn’t think I was supposed to say please to my own girlfriend so she’d dry my hair,” he said pointedly. “Please?”
Amber smiled and leaned over to kiss his nose quickly. “Well, it’s always appreciated, dear,” she said before reaching up and rubbing his hair dry.
William snaked his arms around Amber, pulling her close, connecting their lips together firmly. He held her tight, preventing her from escaping his sweaty self.
"Will!" Amber exclaimed against his lips, laughter edging her voice. "You're all sweaty! You couldn't have waited until after you showered and changed?"
“Do you expect me to wait when you’re standing here looking so goddamn attractive?” William chuckled, not loosening his hold on her. “Get used to it, Will’s Blue.”
Amber crinkled her nose and pushed him away, shoving the towel into his hands with an amused smile. "Go shower and change, and then we can see about kissing."
William scrunched his nose, flicking her across the forehead. “Whatever. I’m going to shower, and I won’t kiss you when I come back.”
"I'm sure you will. I know you'll want to," Amber laughed, swatting at his hand when he flicked her. "Go, go. The sooner you're done, he sooner you can come show off to the team that you finally got me."
William chuckled, shaking his head.
"All right, then. You're right," he smirked. "I plan on giving them a show today."
And he turned around to walk away, not giving Amber a chance to respond.
