Gwen made it out the window and sat on the barn roof knees tugged to her chest.

Alex poked his head out, swinging up onto the roof after her. He landed with a soft thump.

gwen looked over at him.

Alex gave her a small smile. "Beautiful night huh?"

Gwen smiled "yeah" she said looking up at the stars.

Alex sat down next to her, studying her features.

Gwen slowlty turned her head to look at him.

Alex couldn't tear his eyes away from hers.

gwen reached out to touch his cheek but quickly decided gainst it and began to retreat jer hand.

Alex caught her hand, a lopsided grin on his lips.

gwen smiled at his action.

Alex's eyes were still locked on hers as he carefully scooted closer.

Gwen slowly stroked his cheek.

Alex leaned quietly into her touch. He wasn't sure what he was doing… other than following instinct.

Gwen's smile grew. "your sisters gonna murder me".

"Not if I stop her…" said Alex.

"that's actually pretty sweet" she said.

Alex grinned mischievously, "She can't murder me, and I would be protecting you with my life."

Gwen blushed a dark shade of red.

"What about your brother?" he asked, green eyes seeming to glow in the moonlight.

"my broyher will attack me not you" she said.

"what for?" asked Alex…

"he takes anger out on me instead of other people" she said

"Tell him to try me if he needs a work out.." said Alex flatly.

"I;ll get right on that" she teased.

Alex rolled his eyes, pulling away to flop back on the roof to look out over the night sky.

Gwen layed back to do the same.

"So… What do you normally do at this hour?" he asked.

"usally im alone and i look up at the stars or go wander in the woods".

"Earlier you said going out was dangerous" he said.
