"I know that, but what if..let's say, I was kidnapped by an army of soldiers that were all stronger than you?" She picked up her cup of tea and took a sip, "What would you do?"

He leaned fowards in his seat and looked at her in the eyes, the familiar green of mischief glittered in their reflection "I don't have to be stronger than them, just smarter. Plus, I have so.ewhat of an upperhand." He waved a hand, his magic, waving off it in light wisps

She nodded and took another sip of her tea, leaning back in her chair and firing another scenario at him, "What about if you got to choose, my death but everyone you've ever known and loved living, including your parents and brother. Or I lived and everyone else died?"

He tilted his head slightly "I hope to never, ever make that decision. Ever." he walked around the table and knelt by her side, taking her hand in his and brushing his lips against her skin "is there a reason why you ask? Do you fear that choice will come to light?"

"I hope it never happens, but yes.." She said quietly, "I do worry that you or I will have to make the choice." She looked at her lap and bit her lip.

He shook his head slightly and tilted her head so she was forced to look in his eyes "that won't happen. Ever. You will never have to suffer the choice of choosing between those you love." He promised "no tricks, no games. I promise you."

She nodded softly and gave him a small smile, changing the subject, "Are you going to eat any more? Or can I have the last few?" She pointed to the pancakes and the smile grew slightly.

He shook his head and kissed her hands "no I'm not love," he slid the plate to her and stood, taking her empty one and heading to the kitchen while she ate

"Thank you," She called to him, pouring more syrup on her plate and eating quickly. She finished eating quickly and carried her plate to the kitchen when she was done, ready to clear off the rest of the table once she got water running to do the dishes.

He started washing the plates as she brought hers to the sink "of course, love." He started to hum a song as e cleaned

She gave him a quick hug before heading out to clean off the table, "What song is that?" She asked, putting things away and bringing the things that needed to be cleaned to the sink.

"smells like team spirit by Nirvana, Thor had me listen to it when he came back from midgard. It's a good song." He said over his shoulder

"I've never heard it," She walked to him and watched him wash dishes, almost supprised she didn't have to wash them herself. After a few minutes she stood on her toes and gave him a kiss on the cheek, smiling and walking away right after.

"I'll play it later," He hummed in content and watched her go "there's a library," he called after her with a smile

A bright smile appeared on her face, "And where is this library?" She asked happily, bouncing on her toes at the thought of being able to read some books from this planet.

He dried his hands and walked over to where she stood, "around the corner," he led her to the door "Here," he handed her a key

"This is amazing," She smiled happily, taking the key and opening the door after giving him a hug.

He smiled down at her and kissed her cheek, letting her go into the room first. "Quite a collection."

She stepped into the room and immediately started looking around, "it really is.."

"a hobby I picked while spending my time here. You'd be surprise at some tales they tell here." He took a book out from it's shelf and leafed through it with a nostalgic smile

"Are they that different?" She asked with a laugh, running her hand over the books and pulling out one at random.

He nodded "they're very different from the stories we tell on Asgard, and some are similar. But all are very interesting in their own way. A wonder how so many stories can be made from only 27 letters."

(Don't you mean 26?)
She nodded and smiled, "What are most of them about?" Her fingers traced the letters and she leaned against the shelf, happy to maybe learn more about this planet.

"Anything and everything you could possibly imagine." He said glancing up. Some of the history of this planet, some of other world's that don't even exist, though if you read their story, you'll believe they're real." He sat down at a couch and patted the seat next to him"

"Wow.." She smiled and headed over to where he was, sitting next to him with the book from before still in her hands.

He nodded "there's not enough time in a life to read all the books." He glanced at the book in her hand and smiled "I see your attracted to romance novels.@

Looking down at the cover she smiled and felt her face heat up slightly, "I suppose I am, some of them are very interesting."

"Read aloud, we still have a few more hours before we have to go to Stange's" he said, tugging her close to his side

"Alright," She curled next to him and opened the book, tracing over the words before starting to read. Her voice was soft but loud enough to hear and she immediately made a distinct voice for each character, smiling as she did.
