William simply smiled innocently. “But I’m serious,” he reached out to cup her warm cheek. “How is telling the truth bring unfair?”
William simply smiled innocently. “But I’m serious,” he reached out to cup her warm cheek. “How is telling the truth bring unfair?”
“Because you’re tryinv to fluster me. It’s not working, but you’re still trying,” Amber muttered.
“Flustering you has become my life mission,” William answered, the smile on his features. “I happen to like seeing the blush on your cheeks, especially after we make out.”
Amber glared at him, trying not to look as flustered as she was beginning to feel. “Oh, hush, you.”
“Is my Blue getting flustered?” William teased, the smile on his face turning into a smirk.
“No,” Amber lied, pursing her lips. “Not at all.”
“No?” William quirked an eyebrow. “Then why is your face red, I wonder?”
Amber crinkled her nose up at him. “Like I said, you’re no fair,” she repeated herself.
William kissed her nose before he pulled her on top of himself, shifting so he was comfortable. “There, that’s much better now,” he murmured. “I think this couch is a little too small for two people.”
“Mm, definitely,” Amber yawned, turning her face away. “Hey, are you hungry? I just realized I never ate breakfast, and it’s nearly lunch time.”
William furrowed his eyebrows. “Why didn’t you?” He questioned. “You should have eaten before you came back. C’mon, let’s get something to eat.”
“I was focused on making sure you were okay, hun,” Amber explained, reluctantly pushing herself off of him. “Can’t blame me for wanting to check on my boyfriend, can you?”
William picked himself up as well, smiling a little before he wiped it off. “Next time,” he reached out to tuck stray hair behind her ear. “Please eat first. Okay?”
Amber smiled over at him, reaching up to peck his lips quickly before starting toward the kitchen. “Okay. I can do that.”
William followed after her, her smile making him chuckle.
“I can help. A little,” Willam told her as he entered the kitchen. “As you already know, I don’t work much in the kitchen.”
Amber chuckled a little and looked around. “What should we make?”
“Whatever you’d like,” William shrugged. “And something that’s simple.”
“Hm… Sandwiches?” Amber suggested, looking over at him curiously.
“Sandwiches work,” William responded, hugging her from behind. “Those are simple to make.”
Amber leaned back into him and leaned her head back so that she could smile up at him. “Great. What do you want on yours?”
William felt his heart melt when he saw her smile. God, she knew just how to get under his skin, didn’t she? “I don’t know,” he breathed out.
“Well, you’re not helpful… Maybe turkey and cheese?” Amber suggested, straightening back up and gently pulling away to start working on the food.
“Sounds good,” William cocked his head to the side. “What should I do?”
“Hm… Do you want mayo? You could put the mayo on the bread while I’m getting everything out,” Amber suggested.
William scrunched his nose. “I hate mayo,” he muttered as he got the bread and mayo out. “But I’ll spread it for you.”
Amber grinned over at him as she grabbed out the turkey and cheese. “Thank you, dear. I’ll make your sandwich while you do that, then.”
William smeared the mayo on a pieces of bread carefully but swiftly, setting them on a plate after he was finished with each.
“Oh, how many sandwiches are you planning on making?” He questioned after he was done with the second piece.
“I was thinking just one per person,” Amber said as she started making William’s.
“Well, then,” William pushed the plate towards her. “Here are your pieces of bread. I didn’t know how much mayo you liked, so I spread it on both pieces.”
"Perfect. Thanks, Will," Amber said, smiling over at him as she handed him his plate. "And here are your sandwiches."
