Kyra shook her head, although agreeing with Laura. "I don't even understand why this would happen. It's like a person's worst nightmare, but the real thing."

"It's like those Escape horror movies," Aaron said tiredly.

Laura put her head in her hands. "So, every time we chose dare, another person gets kidnapped? Is that what it says?"

"If we choose to do the Dare. Or we get beaten."

"Oh. My. God." Laura couldn't believe this. "What the hell is this place!? A torture chamber?!"

"Pretty much."

Laura kicked at the walls in frustration. "So when does the "game" start?" she said, putting the word game in sarcastic air quotations.

"If only we knew," Kyra sighed, wondering how her life got caught up in this mess.

"B-beaten?"

Laura heard someone else speaking behind her. She turned around. "Oh, hey, what's your name, welcome to the torture chamber!"

"L-Lila."

Laura felt bad. She shouldn't take her frustration out on this poor girl. "Sorry Lila, that probably wasn't the best introduction. Anyway, I'm Laura."

"H-hello, L-Laura… d-do y-y-you know wh-wh-why we're here?"

"I'm Aaron," he said grumpily from the corner. "Welcome to your doom."

"D-Doom?!" Lila asked, terrified.

"Don't mind him," Laura consoled her. "He's even worse than I am. There's no easy way to break this to you, Lila, so just read this." Laura gestured to the screen.

Leora sighed. Now everyone was awake.
"I'm Leora Harper. I'm from Toronto, Canada-" the screen faded and after a while, it reappeared, with the words, "Go into the room in the corner, and follow the instructions."
"Um, people? Are we going to go, or not?" she gestured toward the door.

Looking at the corner door, Kyra hesitated, but figured she didn't have a choice to go or not. Walking over there, she spoke. "Well, if we're doing this, then I'm Kyra McClannon. And nothing about this is creepy. Nothing at all." She sighed. "I'm from Phoenix, Arizona."

(the room will be the room where they play truth or dare. the room they're in now is the "lobby" or the place they "respawn", also, BookAddict, you can join. You already did, tho, so :)

Aaron stood up slowly and obeyed the screen. "Let's try and, uh, stick together?"

Can I still RP my character if I wasn't introduced in the story until now? I could just say I was in the corner unnoticed until the screen changed)

Leora walked over to the door, opened it, and got sucked into a separate room that looked like a hotel room with a screen…
"Truth Or Dare?" it read.

Lila walked in next. She fell, spiraling down, down, down, a white screen. TRUTH OR DARE.
