Mikhail quickly made his way to Theo's car to avoid any of the people that usually annoyed him. What the hell was Bradly talking about?

Theo grinned when he saw Mikhail, quickly stomping out the cigarette, “Hey there.”

"Hey," Mikhail replied, smiling back. "Ready to go?

Theo nodded, “You betcha.” He sent him a wink before climbing in the car.

Mikhail felt his heart flutter like usual and climbed into the car after Theo. "Do you have any idea of what type of college you want to get into?"

Theo shook his head, “No idea,” He sighed, “I wasn’t going to go to collage anyway…” He muttered, starting the engine.

"What do you mean?" Mikhail asked, looking a bit confused.

Theo opened his mouth to reply, then shut it and shook his head, "Doesn't matter."

"Oh, come on, please?" Mikhail asked, looking at Theo with puppy dog eyes.

Theo again shook his head, “That won’t work on me this time.”

"Do you not have enough money?" Mikhail asked gently, looking a bit worried now.

“What? No, that’s not it,” Theo replied quickly, “It’s… uh… no, we have enough money.”

"Then what is it? Not enough credits?" Mikhail asked.

“Micky I-“ Theo frowned a little. Should I tell him now? “It’s very, very complicated.”

"Okay then, you can tell me whenever you're ready." Mikhail quickly replied, putting his hands up.

“I don’t think I’ll ever be ready…” Theo sighed, “Depends if you want to know the news sooner or later?”

"Then I'm fine with whenever you want to tell me." Mikhail answered, smiling reassuringly at Theo.

“I guess now it is…” He muttered, taking a side road that led towards the woods.

"Oh-okay then. Wait, where are you going?" Mikhail asked, looking confused as he looked around.

“Just trust me, okay?” Theo replied, taking and releasing a breath.

"Okay…" Mikhail mumbled, looking out the window. Why does he need to take me to the woods to tell me why he can't go to college?

It wasn’t long before Theo pulled up under a tree, quickly stopping the engine and climbing out. This was it the moment he’d re-thought for years.

Mikhail cautiously got out the car and looked at Theo, not sure what he was going to do next. What is he going to do?

Theo took a deep breath, “Okay, this is going to sound completely insane, but I need you to believe me and I need you to not freak out on me, please.” He took a few steps away from the car.

Mikhail nodded. "Okay then….?" He leaned against a tree and looked around.

“Micky… I’m a werewolf.” And just like that the secret was out in the open.

"Wait, but don't werewolves constantly need to be with their mates?" Mikhail asked, furrowing his eyebrows in confusion.

Theo nodded, “Yeah, they do… a-and that’s you. You’re my mate, Micky.”

"Wait-what?!" Mikhail exclaimed. "Also, I forgot how, but how are mates selected?"

“It’s not really a selection, it’s more the Moon Godess chooses who she thinks is you’re equal. Your mate is your soulmate.” Theo explained.
