Lizzie got up and brought a chair over to the counter while her parents talked, taking it upon herself to manage the food, humming under her breath as she normally did when cooking at home

Caleb heard someone at the stove, he turned and saw Lizzie… managing the food quite expertly for someone who could barely see the top of the stove without the help of a chair. He whispered quietly to Briar, "Ummm… Briar, did you give birth to a genius child or something?" He was trying his hardest not to crack up laughing.

Caleb died laughing on Briar's shoulder. His laughter slowly turned to crying again. His chest heaved as he held Briar close.

Briar kissed his head while stroking his hair.

Caleb took deep breaths, trying to get himself together. "Sorry…" he choked out, apologizing for crying so much.

"It's quite alright darling" she said with a small smile.

Caleb let go of her and collapsed onto a chair, rubbing his eyes.

Caleb set his forehead on the table and pretty much tried to turn invisible.

"C-caleb What's wrong" she asked.

Caleb just shivered, trying to clear his head. He rubbed his temples, feeling a headache forming.

Briar slowly got up from the chair and began walking to walk away.

Lizzie continued to cook, glancing every so often at her parents. She saw Caleb walk to chair and hold his head, probably let just overwhelmed

Caleb got up, then went and locked himself in one of the two bathrooms of the complex. 'Wha is wrong with me…?' he thought.

briar sat there confusion written all over her face.

Suddenly Caleb leaned over the toilet and vomited violently. 'Seven years… How am I supposed to make that up?'

briar heard puking and knocked on the bathroom door " sre you alright caleb"?.

Caleb tried to get up and unlock the door, but before he could move or say anything, he retched again.

"Caleb" briar said wrriedly.

Caleb managed to choke out. "B-be out soon!" Before puking into the ceramic bowl again. He was starting to hyperventilate.

Briar didnt move from her spot.

Caleb was just dry heaving now. He had expelled every last bit of substance from his stomach. Finally, he opened the door. "Sorry. Did you need to get in here?"
