Asura had never fired a gun before, and that ended up behind pretty obvious when he shot his tranquilizer. It zoomed past the demon about five yards in front of its chest, missing completely, but grabbing its attention.

Pluto knocked Asura upside the head with one of her wings. "What the hell man!"

Red attempted to try and shoot the gun, but it jammed and wouldn't fire. In a panic, she grabbed one of the tranquillizer bullets and ran up towards the beast, trying to drag it's attention away from Pluto and Asura by throwing her tranq at it, managing to stick it sideways in the chest and quickly grabbed up Asura's missed shot.

"It's okay! I can fix it!" He said, taking another shot at the aggravated demon. He missed again, but was a little closer this time. "Fuck, nevermind."

"Fuck! Stop firing you idiot!" Pluto grabbed the gun out of his hand, chucking it behind her. The illusion on her wings flickered out, and she took to the air trying to draw the demon's attention from Red

The demon swiped at her with a huge paw and Red took the impact to stick the tranq fully into the paw of the beast before being flung aside like a paperclip.

"Shit!" Asura said, rushing toward Red to retrieve her. He fell down at her side, lifting the small thing up in her arms. "Why would you do that?"

"RED! ASURA, GET HER TO SAFETY!" Pluto shouted. She landed on the demon's back, shooting a few tranquilizers into its neck before being shaken into the air

He took off with her, searching for a spot in the trees that could conceal them both. It didn't help that his aura was blazing and trailing slightly behind him, leaving sparks.

"Turn your god damn flashlight off!" Pluto shouted, weaving between the demon's claws as it bat at her

"Sorry about that, but I needed to…" Red trailed off as she felt the sensations in her back again, but this time stronger and… more solid? She felt her muscled rip open along the scars as black wings rushed from their hiding place in her body. She screamed in at the extra pain and her hair instantly went all red-colored. Once she opened her eyes again, they were a bright-red, with only a ring of purple remaining of her natural eye color.

Mike sat in the bushes, contemplating the chaos before him. "I could've been a vet," he remarked to no one in particular. "Or a farmer. How did I end up like this?"
