Caleb rocked her slowly. "Do you want me back…?"

"of course I do" she said softly.

Caleb relaxed. "How would it work? How could it happen?"

Briar looked up at him "I can get you out of your sentence" she said.

Caleb shook his head in disbelief. "I highly doubt even you can get me out of a death sentence…"

"I can but if you don't believe me then I refuse to let you go not again".

Caleb gave a humorless chuckle. "I'm not leaving you ever again. I'd rather die."

Caleb sighed a the fingers on his hair. It had been so long since he had felt this sensation…

"I've misesed you" she qhispered.

Caleb kissed her cheek. "I'm glad you found me…"

Caleb laughed again. "Guess this means I'm gonna have to find a real job huh?"

"yeah as long as you dont stay out to late".

Caleb chuckled. "I was thinking I'd take a night sift someplace actually."

"well that will be a problem because I work at night most of the time".

Caleb tilted his head. "Well, I'll be the stay at home parent then, just until we get things figured out, ok?"

she nodded "hopefully I wont get shot again.

Caleb grinned at her and gestured to his leg. "And hopefully you won't shoot me again?"

"I'm sorry" she said.

Caleb chuckled and tickled her. "You better be!" He grinned, nipping at her neck, still tickling.

Lizzie smiled and ran into his arms, glad that her mother was happy and that she could have someone to can her dad

"Caleb dont tickle me it hurts my shoulder " she said with a ainful laugh.

Caleb let go of Briar. "Sorry!" Then he scooped up Lizzie and cuddled her.
