"I can hide my aura somewhat, but it's difficult," Asura said, dimming it as much as possible.

(here's the demon)

The sun was fading by now, leaving everything in a dusky blue mist, but it was possible to make out a pond with a waterfall in the center of the clearing, surrounded by mossy rocks. And on the far side of the pond, a large catlike creature was lounging, its prey draped across its paws.

(It has a random dead guard, btw. here's the instructions Mike just gave)

We'll spread out and pincer the clearing until each of us feels they have a fairly clear shot at him. Then I'll radio the one who should shoot first. Be careful."

(shrugs)
The creature seemed to be absorbed in its meal, but once in a while it would lift its head and listen carefully, making sure it was alone.

Red's breath stopped for a second. Her eyes went wide as she tried to steady her heart and her breath. She didn't think anything would terrify and thrill her as much as the lab ever did. She was wrong.

Pluto glanced over to Red, wings fluttering. Slowly, the feathers began to sharpen, but as they did she closed them around the group. A silvery-gold pattern that resembled stars spread across the inside of her wings while the outside began to look like the trees around them

Red almost spoke out loud from her wonder, but managed to stop herself in time and look at Pluto in wonder before turning back to the forest and the beast.

Asura's eyes widened at Pluto's wings. "Since when could you do that?"

Pluto smiled, a little proud of Red's reaction. It had taken a long time to get her wings to look like that when she wanted them to

"It took a while to figure it out," Pluto whispered. "But I think it's pretty cool."

"They're so… pretty" Red was tempted to reach out and touch Pluto's wings but decided against it, but her hand was just hovering in the air during her decision-making time.

Pluto grinned, moving one closer to Red's hand. The star pattern began to glow softly

Asura stepped back, admiring her wings. He wondered why she was so adamant about hiding them whenever she could.

Mike cleared his throat. "That's great, Pluto. Keep it up. Now let's encircle this kitty cat and knock him out before we lose our chance."

"Got it." Pluto slid forward from behind the group, careful to maintain the camouflaged illusion

"Right. Can we run through the plan one more time?"

"Quietly surround it and wait for my signal. Then aim for the throat. Once we bring it down, don't leave cover, just meet back here. Clear?"

"Okay. Got it. Hit and run." Red repeated to herself more than anyone else.

"Asura you're with me. Behind the wings please, we'll go off to the right and flank it."

"Alright." Asura picked up a tranquilizer gun and his staff. "Should I just put my staff away then?"
(I'm assuming he has a gun lol sorry)

"For now, yeah. Keep your hands free."

(naw it's good) Pluto shrugged. "Do what you want. We're tranquilizing it, not killing it."

He nodded, concealing his staff in a dimensional pocket and moving behind Pluto. "Alright, let's do this then."

Pluto walked around the pond slowly, concentrating on keeping the illusion up until the got to cover nearer the demon

Mike waited until everyone was safely in position, then gave the demon another minute to glance around warily. Once it was reabsorbed in its meal, he steadily took aim, gazing down the sights at the monster's exposed neck.
"Now," he said into his radio.
(go ahead and take your shots, I gotta eat lunch right quick. Up to you whether you hit or miss)
