She grabbed onto the railing and smiled, "Thanks." She said, making it over the railing and bouncing on her toes.

He grabbed onto the railing and pulled himself over "of course," Brushing himself off and flicking remaining water from his hair, he opened the door and let her go through first

She headed through the door after wringing her hair out as much as she could, hoping that she would dry off before her next class.

"wow, looks like you two had fun," Conner teased as they walked by
"I'm gonna get you later," Jasper warned with a grin
"Aw, didn't like the ice cream? So sorry to disappoint Jassie."

Scarlett laughed and shook her head, "The ice cream was really good Conner," She said, smiling happily.

Conner smiled "at least someone appreciates my hard work."
Jasper rolled his eyes and waved "see ya later Conner." They headed out the door and back to the studio

She waved to him before they left, starting off at a quick but easy pace so she could make it back and to her next class in time.

"your late aren't you," he noticed, waiting for her by the door "sorry," he apologies

"A little, yes, though if I run to class I should make it before anything important is taught." Once they reached the studio she jogged inside and shrugged her backpack on, scowling at the weight, "You're fine Jassie, I should've watched the time. See you later? Or tomorrow?" She had already gotten back outside and started towards her class, walking backwards as she waited for his answer.

"Im free later on?" He offered, watching her leave and hoping she didn't trip. He smiled ashook his head as he headed back inside to a board of children. "Hey guys, give me a sec to set up."
"Jassie, why are you wet?" Lily asked

"Then later on it is. I'll come back to the studio after both of my classes." She waved to him before turning and starting to run up the sidewalk to get to her class, letting the running start to dry her off.

"Uhm I kind of fell into a lake," he said, not being able to come up with a good lie
Lily nodded, still a little confused "are we singing more?"
Jasper nodded "then we'll do some more solo's in the back. That sound good to everyone?" He asked, raising the question to everyone else who had gathered around

Scarlett ran to her class as fast as she could and got there just in time, hopping into an empty seat and starting to take notes almost immediately.

He nodded and put a song on while he set up. A few of the older kids came up to Jasper including Marcos "alright, spill. You went on a date with her didn't you?"
"No idea what you're talking about." Jasper said, not looking up at them
"Jas, you're a terrible liar." Marcos prompted
Jasper rolled his eyes with a grin "and if I did?"

This was one of her harder classes this semester and she tried to focus as much as possible, knowing that she had her math class right after.

"aw Jassie finally found himself a girlfriend!" They all smiled up at him "congrats Jas."
"You little punks, go get ready." Jassie said, his own way of telling them thanks.
He pulled out his electric guitar and started to play, all the kids laughing and cheering as he played one of their favorite songs "I've been away for a while…"

Scarlett sighed and shifted around in her chair, her mind already wandering while she took notes and did the work that they needed to do.

"i may be lonely but I'm not alone dear." Jasper sang lowly, complimenting the kid. H emotion for them to continue while he pulled out his phone and took a video, sending it to Scarlet

Her phone dinged quietly in her bag and she grabbed it after a little bit of digging, opening the video from Jasper and seeing that it was a video. She smiled and paused her note-taking to grab her earbuds and listen to the song, happy for the little beautiful interruption.

"these kids are insane" he texted, sending her another video of the kids tackling him to the ground "hope you do well in Math! <3"

She barely held in a light laugh when she saw the next video, quickly texting him back, "Thanks! You be good and don't die" She sent, "ttyl Jassie."

He smiled a put his phone away "alright, off of me." He laughed and got off, the kids laughing and tumbling around

Soon both of Scarlett's classes were done and she was exhausted, her brain full of math she didn't understand as she walked back to the studio as fast as she could.

Jasper put on some music as he packed up for the day, "Jassie, mommy says she'll be here soon. Is it ok if I stay a bit?" Lily asked, tugging on his shirt. Jasper nodded "of course, want to help pack?" The girl nodded, singing as she handed the disks to him
"it's not simple to say…" She glanced up at Jasper
He smiled "that most days I don't recognize me." He softly sang

She reached the studio quickly and opened the door quietly, about to give a big entrance until she heard them singing. She smiled and stepped inside quietly, just listening.

The girl giggled with joy "That these shoes and this apron That place and its patrons
Have taken more than I gave them." She sang sweetly
Jasper finished packing and sat with her. "It's not easy to know I'm not anything like I used be, although it's true I was never attention's sweet center. I still remember that girl." He smiled, drunk with lyrics. Spotting scarlet, he reached up for her and motioned for her to sit

Scarlett took her backpack off and sat down next to Jasper with a smile, humming along to the song but not joining in. This song was Lily's and Jasper's to sing.

He gave her a smile and waited for Lily to sing
"She's imperfect, but she tries." she sang with a smile
"she is good but she lies." he sang back

She laid her head on Jasper's shoulder and tugged her backpack infront of herself, opening it up quietly to get her homework out.

he wrapped his arm around her shoulders
"Jassie can you sing the rest?" Lily asked
He nodded "She is hard on herself
"She is broken and won't ask for help She is messy, but she's kind."
