He shrugged, refusing to meet Landyn’s eyes.

Landyn started yelling. "I-I won't…Accept that."

Alex cringed slightly. “L-Landyn please…”

Landyn starts crying. "H-He hurt you…" He curls up when he hears Nates laughter in his head.

Alex wanted to reassure him, to tell him that Nate would never be able to hurt him ever again…but he wasn’t so sure.

Landyn looks around. "D-Do you hear that?"

“H-hear what?”

"Quiet."
The laughter gets louder.
